I woke up the next morning with a sinking feeling in my stomach. I pulled myself out of bed and walked over to the bathroom. Still half asleep, I splashed some water in my face to wake me up. My vision cleared up and I gasped when I saw my reflection. On the side of my neck was a bruise, it didn't look like  a normal bruise, there were lines branching out from the bruise. I shrieked again and Elliot came running in. When he laid his eyes on me, he stilled and gave me a weird look. As if he knew something. Luckily Lily wasn't here this morning, Elliot said she had left early because she had an early morning shoot. 

" There's something I need to tell you Genevie, you may want to sit down for this."

We walked out to the living room and I sat down on the couch, waiting for Elliot to explain.

" That time I took you to the forest.... was a plan to get you in touch with your roots again. Your family is not who they say they are. They're hiding a dark secret, you're not normal Genevie. I'm not normal, though I'm sure you've had your suspicions.That mark that you have on your neck is a sign of your awakening."

" So what you're saying is that you expect me to believe all of this? You're kidding me right? Awakening? Not normal??"

Elliot sighed and ran his fingers through his hair.

"I'll prove it."

As soon as he said that, he started glowing, it wasn't a good glow though. He held out his hand and a light appeared in his palm. 

" We're special Genevie. We're the only ones that can save our dying kind."

I stood up and looked him dead in the eye.

" What are you?"

His eyes turned white and it started glowing. 

" I am a seerer as are you. I followed you to make sure nothing went wrong and now that you know, we need to leave. Our kind is in danger."

He grabbed my hand and pulled me towards the door. 

" Wait! I never said I'd agree with this! You're crazy! This is all just a bad dream, I'm going over to the WDW house."

Elliot didn't take no for an answer and followed me all the way there. I walked into the already open door and walked straight into the kitchen, which was a big mistake. There was Jack and Aspen, kissing on the kitchen counter. 

" Jack? Are you serious?"

Jack pulled away from Aspen when he heard my voice. He had a look of guilt on his face while she smirked. He reached out to me but I held my hand out and he stopped. Elliot, who witnessed the whole thing stared down Jack. 

" Genevie, I can explain."

I turned away from him and turned to Elliot with tears running down my face.

" Take me far away from here."

Elliot grabbed my hand and we were enveloped in a great white light.

I opened my eyes and we were in a different setting. It didn't look anything like LA or home. Everybody had the same aura as Elliot. To make it even more clear I wasn't home, a person with bloodshot  red eyes approached us followed by a girl with had ruby red eyes 

" Elliot! I haven't seen you in so long! Is this the girl?"

I looked at Elliot.

" Genevie, this is Liam and Polly. They're not seerers like us, they have other abilities."

As soon as Elliot said that, Liam's eyes glowed and an object came flying towards us. It was a can of soda.  He smirked and cracked the can open, earning a distasteful look from Polly. 

" I'm sorry for my brother . He can be reckless sometimes."

Speaking of reckless, another object came flying towards us but the object was disintegrated when Polly raised her hand. I'm not even kidding, a violet light shot at the object.

I looked at Elliot.

" Where am I?"

He looked at Polly and Liam before looking down at me.

" I'll explain everything, let's go somewhere more private first."
