Chapter 8- Guess who's back?

Time skip to next week

Bailey's P.O.V

Max and Harvey are coming back to the studio today, they hadn't been coming so I had to practise our cover by myself. I arrived at the studio before the twins so I decided to text Kade

Bailey: Hey Kade

Kade: Hi

Bailey: Do you want to hang out @ lunch 2morrow?

Kade: Yeah sure c u 2morrow lunch 😃

Bailey: Bye, gtg the twins r here sorry

Kade: k bye

"Hey guys" I said giving Harvey a hug, I went to hug Max "are you okay?" I whispered "no" Max replied glaring at me coldly "I'm sorry Max, I don't know what-"
"Save it, I don't care, lets just carry on with the song" Max cut me off. I didn't know what to think, I thought he did still care that I kissed Harvey, but wasn't not sure if he still has feelings for me. I just don't know any more. "Ok, so seems that you three know your lines because we're going to try record the song today, then we'll make the music video tomorrow" Jake said shoving us into the recording booth then whispering into my ear "remember no relationships" he reminded me coldly, I roll my eyes and follow the boys into the booth.

Our song was pretty good, but Max seemed distracted, I don't know what's wrong with him, and I don't know whether or not to ask him what's wrong. "Bailey, can I talk to you real quick" Harvey mumbled, I bit my lip and followed Harvey outside "We can't do this anymore" Harvey frowned, "Do what, hang out?" I asked flustered. "No, like... what happened... in Jake's truck," Harvey mumbled biting his lip "oh, I... yeah, I mean we could never have... we wouldn't have... yeah lets just" I swallowed. "Bailey," Harvey called reaching out a hand, "no, let's just go back inside" I told him forcing myself to walk away from the one I cared for the most.

Time skip to lunch tomorrow

"Hey Kade" I said forcing a smile upon my face
"Hi, what's wrong?" Kade asked worriedly
"Oh, nothing, just Harvey drama. Again. How did you know" I asked curiously, did someone tell him something?
"I can see through your fake smile Bailey, we've known each other for seven years. You can't keep anything from me. So what happened?" Kade winked. I told Kade about the kiss with Max, and then Harvey and then what happened yesterday. I blinked hard to keep the tears from breaking out. Kade embraced me in a hug "Don't worry Bail you'll figure something out" he whispered "I hope so" I thought to myself.

We broke from the hug and continued eating our lunch. Soon enough a girl up to Kade "Hi Kay" she smiled kissing his cheek "hey" Kade smiled hugging her and pulling her onto his lap, she laughed, Kade started to tickle her and harmonised her laughter "Kadie stop it! Kade!" She giggled obnoxiously squirming in his lap. Kade stopped tickling her and gave the girl one last peck on the cheek before she stood up, winked and left t sit by her friends. "What was all that about?" I asked pretending to gag "oh you don't know? That's my girlfriend, we've been going out for about two months now" Kade shrugged biting down on his taco "Girlfriend?" I exclaimed "You have a girlfriend?" I repeated in disbelief, Kade shrugged "her name's Macy I met her in science"
"She has a rather obnoxious laugh, don't you think?" I asked "jealous much" Kade rolled his eyes. "I better get my act together, both you and Jackie have got someone, I'm just stuck in an endless void of Max and Harvey drama" I laughed trying to hide the deep feeling of disappointment in my mind.
