Chapter 3: The Game

Lucy's POV

"Hey Luce!" He called. "What?" I asked. "Have you seen that? You think we could beat them myself?" He smiled asking. "Yeah, yeah."

Sting took the ball and do some shooting, "we are playing on sunday, right? With our uniforms on." Natsu nodded and said, "bye! See ya on sunday!" "Bring Happy with you! And we'll bring Frost and Lector!" Rogue shouted. "I will!" Natsu shouted.

After that we went home. "Who is Happy?" I asked Natsu. "Happy? He is my cat!" Then it become silence. Later on, he broke the silence by asking, "speaking of Happy, can he live with us? Please!" Awww. He is so cute- wait! Did I just say cute? "Fine!"

Natsu's POV

Days passes until its our game against the Ice Princess. I met up with Sting and Rogue at the park. We all wear our uniforms and if I remembered, the last game our team played against Fairytail High was at the semifinal, but the thing is, I wasn't able to play because I missed the game or should I say, 'I was late'. Anyway, I'll show them what I got.

"Where is your F-I-A-N-C-É-E?" Sting asked empathizing the word fiancée. "Luce? She said that she will meet up with her friends and that she will just catch up." I replied. "Um, I think we should get going." Rogue said. We all nodded and head to the place where we are playing.

When we arrive, Gray's team were shocked seeing our uniforms. "Not bad, Flame brain."

"Ice Princess!"

"Match Stick!"

"Ice Pop!"

"A-ash f-f-fo-for..." Gray shuttered, feeling Erza's aura behind him. "Are you two fighting?" Gray and I hugged each other, "N-n-no. We are actually bestfriend," we respond in unison. "Good." Erza turn around and left them while Gray and Natsu wiping their shirts.

Nobody's POV

They started their game and it Gray's team ball. Both teams keep trying to score without defensing each other. Natsu was dribbling the ball and looked at to Sting and Rogue. They all nodded.

They keep scoring and not defensing and Gray's team noticed that. When Natsu had the ball, Gray stole at and did a dunk. "You see that!" Gray shouted, not noticing that he is stripping already.

Gray's team kept scoring, making Natsu's team on the same score.

Gray's POV

'Heh! They didn't saw me dunk on the last time we played.' Gray thought.
"They are LOSING!" Gajeel shouted and smirk. "I know, right? They can't beat us! How can they WIN against us?" I said in confidence in winning, making them to hear me.

I saw Natsu whispering something to Sting and they even did a high five. Is everything that happened are all planned? I couldn't be! They are just doing that because they know that they are losing, and because they are embarrased to admit it.

Natsu's POV

"As planned." I whispered to Sting, who grinned. We did a high five to each other. We went back to the game and this time its our turn to shine.

Sting made a quick pass to Rogue and pass it to the ring. I jump at did an alleyoop. Loke is dribbling the ball and Sting just stole the ball out of nowhere, leaving Loke dumbfounded and went for a 3 points.

We keep scoring. When there is 3 seconds left, I was still on the other side of the court, after I receive the ball, I jump confidently finish the game with a full-court, ringless shot. "Good game guys!" I shouted. We shake each other hands. "That was awesome!" Loke compliment. "Thanks." I said.
