My friend and I have known each other since 5th grade. Both our families live in USA but in 10th we decided to come to Toronto, to complete high school. May, my friend, and I, Ayesha started saving money since 8th, and with the help of our parents we went to US.

It was the first day of school, we both were home-sick yet excited. We came one month ago to set up our own little villa and find part-time jobs. For the summer, we worked at an ice-cream parlor. The night before school, I took up babysitting and tomorrow will be my first baby-sitting job. It is the night before school.

"Aren't you excited", asked may while jumping hysterically. "Of course", I replied with a million dollar smile. Although we were seventeen, we acted like babies.

"What's for dinner", I asked her. We took turns in preparing meals, giving us adequate time for other stuff. "Pesto pasta" she replied. Then it was my turn to jump, I loved my pasta more than anything!

We decided to watch a movie at night, the first movie we saw together, Geek Charming. After watching the movie and eating, we lay down on our beds, staring at the ceiling. Our childhood dream was finally coming true. In Toronto, in 8th grade, we decided to open our own fashion store and surprisingly we did quite well. We made our own designs and then made them on clothes.

"Ayesha, you awake", May asked. "Yeah", I replied. "Shall we go to sleep, it's ten already and we need to walk to school" I asked. "Fine, good idea, good night Ayesha" she said while she turned her back and fell asleep.

'Six o'clock already, I was just in the middle of a dream'

Our alarm started playing Manic Monday, which clearly describe our scenario.

We wore the tees we designed and denim jeans. I put my hair into a messy bun, packed my bag and headed downstairs.

"Morning, sleepy bird", sang May. "Morning" I said while rubbing my eyes. I wasn't a morning person and my alarm was clearly jealous of the relationship I shared with my bed. Tough luck clock!

We had Choco chip pancakes, orange juice and headed towards our school. May and I were walking when I suddenly bumped into a strong person. I fell down and so did he!

"Watch where you're going" said the furious stranger. "I'm sorry, I'm new", I replied trying to control my boiling blood. He should've seen first and  get angry really fast. "That is such a clique card to play" snapped the stranger. He didn't even bother to help me get my books which were in my hand. "Excuse me, she was walking perfectly until you decided to walk in front of her", snapped May. I could see him clench his fists.

"It's ok May, no one has told him about his anger management issues and no one even bothers to confront him and till him that he is acting as an A class douchebag. It is clearly evident, have some sympathy for him." I pouted my lips, held May's hand and went to my locker

"Whoa", said May. Even though we were together since 5th, she had never seen the snappy side of me. I shrugged and the warning bell rang "Crepe", we both muttered together then laughed. None of us liked to swear, so we made our own cuss words. We ran to class and thankfully we were on time. We sat opposite each other and got ready to battle Math. Math wasn't our favorite subject...AT ALL! We hated it and weren't even good at it. We were in the same classes luckily. It was the first day so we didn't to a lot. At lunch, we made friends and I managed to ignore the boy with the attitude. We went home walking.
