Chapter 06

Daniel's Pov

I left the house an hour later while everyone was outside. As I was driving, I felt my phone vibrate from calls and texts, but ignored them. All that was on my mind was Y/n. I had to see her, awake or asleep. Didn't matter. I pulled into the hospital's parking lot and rushed to the front desk.

"I need to see Y/n L/n." The woman put her name into the computer, to get her information.

"I'm sorry sir, but she's out of the hospital. She was checked out today." I furrowed my eyes in confusion. She's alive..But where?

How did I not know this?

Where is she now?

"Daniel!" I turned around to see Jack at the entrance. "What are you doing here?"

"I came to see Y/n.." I whispered. He said sorry and led me out.

"We're bringing a counselor tomorrow for you. Let's go home." I tried losing Jack's grip on my arm, but failed. I was too weak.

We came home a few hours later to see the rest of the boys worried. "Where were you?!" I froze, I didn't want to tell them where I was.

"He went to the hospital to see Y/n." This time Corbyn, Zach and Jonah froze. Zach fiddled with his fingers, showing he's nervous or keeping something from me.

"Just leave me alone." I left the room and fell asleep with the thought in my mind...

Where is Y/n?

Y/n's Pov

I went back to Jake's house to get into online schooling, since I still need to finish senior year. I was looking into the work I missed until I got a text.

Corbean

Daniel is having a counselor going to see him. Also..He tried to visit you at the hospital not knowing you left.

Y/n :))

I need to see him.

We understand..We're just afraid what would happen.

"Y/n, Daniel is gonna be okay." Jake tried comforting me but I just brushed him away.

"It's like saying you can't see Edith even though you know she needs you. I need to go..Goodnight."

Daniel's Pov

I heard a few knocks on the door before she came in. I recognised her..It was one of Y/n's friends. "Hello Daniel, I'm Ms. Hearth, but you can just call me Emma." We shook hands before she observed me. "First of all, I need see your physical health. Is that okay?" I shrugged. I took off my hoodie to reveal my bandages around my arms and show baggy my shirt is on me. She took notes on her notepad before letting me put on the hoodie once more. "So, have you had any issues with family?"

"Not that I know of.. It's not like you don't know either. I know you. You're Y/n's friend. Emma." She looked at me in shock before silently nodding.

"Correct. Do you want to talk about it?"

"Sure." We talked about Y/n, Emma would take notes every so often but would mostly listen to what I would say about Y/n. Memories of her would flash through my mind. Talking about her made me happy and full of hope, but it gave me a feeling of longing for her.

"I have to go, it was great seeing you." I waved her goodbye with something I haven't had in forever.

A smile.

Emma's Pov

Talking to Daniel made me realize how much he needs her. "So I have a bunch of things written down about Daniel. His mental health, his physical health, and what his needs are." The boys looked at my written down notes, shocked at a few facts.

"Do you think It'll be okay if Y/n sees Daniel? What if she can make him..Happy again?" Zach asked. I pondered for a second before shrugging.

"He'd be happy, but he's told me certain things..The day when he cut, he saw Y/n..Except she was different. It terrified him. I think if they see each other for a certain amount of time he'll slowly come back.. I really don't know." We all started suggesting ideas, a few interesting while others were extremely dumb.

"What if Daniel played Cello for her? He does cello all the time so.." Corbyn suggested.

"That's a great idea. Y/n and I will be here tomorrow at 3 pm. Bye!" I left the house and texted Y/n.
