Chapter 12

Daniel's Pov

I went home to see Jack and Jonah giving me strange looks. Instead of asking them why they were following us, I went up to my room with anger fuming through my ears. Now they're gonna keep me away from Y/n, and I won't have any access to her. I know it.

Ping! Ping! Ping!

I screamed out in pain, as those sounds kept ringing in my head. I covered my ears to ease the pain, but it didn't help. That noise won't stop.

"Daniel!"

And everything went black.

"Wake up, you idiot." I woke up to see myself in a white room, surrounded by what seemed like pillows. On the other side of the room stood Zach. He was holding two burritos. One for me and one for him. I decided to ignore him and make my way out. Instead of opening the door, It was locked by a lock.

"Zach, do you know where the key is?" He gave me a sly smile and held out a burrito, making my face scrunch up in disgust.

"Why don't you sit down and eat with me? It'll be nice to have your company once again." I shook my head and roamed around, trying to find a secret way out. Zach watched amused, smiling at my failing attempts.

"Stop staring and help me for once!" I hollered in frustration.

"Burrito?" I cried out in frustration before I felt the burrito wrapped by a tin foil to hit my face.

"Fine" I grumbled. Zach vanished into thin air, as if he was never there in the first place. After a few seconds I missed Zach's presence, surprisingly. I opened the burrito to see those oh so familiar contents. I sighed and took a bite, tasting the meat, lettuce..Metal? I took the metal tasting thing to see it was..

The key.

Zach was trying to help me the whole time.

I unlocked the door to see it was a hospital..

The hospital where Y/n was in a coma. I roamed around the hospital, wondering where everyone was until I ran into Eben. He had a cast on his arm, and his eyes were glued to the ground.

"Eben.."

"Why haven't you text me? We used to be so close. So sad though, you don't even know I moved." He walked past me as if I didn't exist. As if I was simply a stranger.

"Eben!"

"Room A27" was the last thing I heard before he disappeared. I decided to start trying to find room A27, but instead stumbled into a bathroom. A43 it read. I rolled my eyes and tried to get out before seeing a flash of me when I was cutting. The blood. The tears.

I shook my head and left the bathroom, looking for A27. I was walking closer to A27, curious of what was in the room. I turned a corner to see Jonah and Jack.

I blinked.

And they were gone. "What the.." I kept walking and eventually reached A27, to see it was locked once again.

"Holy crap, do I have to eat another burrito?"

"You want the key?" I turned around to see Y/n. 

"Please" I whimpered. She smiled at me before she ran. I chased after her, trying to catch her. She eventually stopped to see ourselves in the instrument shop..In front of the piano and cello once again.

"Play a song for me....Please"

"Play the piano."

"Play it."

"You can do it..Can't you?"

"That's what I thought. You can't."
