Chapter Two
Good Bye Youth

I've been having a bad stomach lately.
I keep on vomiting every morning and my brother starts to notice too.

Mom and dad are on a business trip, so Jake and I are the only ones in the house. It's been a month since the concert.

"Are you sure you're running with me?" Jake trails off. "You don't look so good Daya." He shook his head.

"Yeah. I'm running. I need to lose some weight Jake! Let's go," I hissed rolling my eyes.

I put on my runners.

"Ok. Chill. You're so cranky sis," he says.

I walked out.

"You ready?" Jake walks in.

I gave him a nod then we started stretching. After a few minutes we started jogging.

Minutes passed a 5 or 3  as we're running circles in the subdivision.

My legs starts to burn and I'm starting to feel exhausted too. But I kept on jogging until cold sweat drips from my back and forehead. Must keep running. My mind hums.

"Dude are you okay?" My brother stopped and so did I.

I gave him a quick nod.

"Daya let's stop. You look so pale," his voice became indistinct.

"W-what?" My vision blurred out.
My hand reaches my forehead but before I could even talk back, the darkness took over.

"I can't believe this John. She's too young Christ! I can't even believe the fact that she lied to us. The hotel? The concert? Was It just an excuse so she can get herself–" Mom stops mid way.

I've been awake for a couple of minutes now, guess eavesdropping  is a new hobby of mine. Pretty sure It's my parents because I know my moms voice since I was a tiny tot.

"Well we can't do anything about It," dad retorts. "Look calm down first." I can imagine my dad massaging moms shoulders. That's what he does.

"She can't have that baby," mom firmly says. "We can't be grandparents now John, no."

"What baby?" My eyes lit up.

I was in a white room again but now It's different, this room is clinical.

Everything, everything's coming back to me. The night after the concert being in the van with Mars and the very last part.
