Tsunayoshi Sawada or "Tsuna" is a helpless young who has low test scores and lower self esteem. So, his mother hired a tutor for him.

The shocking part is that the tutor is a baby named Reborn who says that he is in the Mafia and Tsuna is the next Mafia decimo or boss.

Reborn informed Tsuna that someone would come to his school and will challenge him, so he needs to be careful.

Shockingly, a new student was enrolled and Tsuna was force to tour the student since he was late...

The student was nice, that is, until Tsuna was then suddenly pinned to the wall while the student had a psychotic grin.

Then, Tsuna realize that this was the person Reborn said that will attack him!

Good thing, Reborn appeared out of nowhere and shoot Tsuna with the Dying Will bullet that cause Tsuna to ripped all of his clothes; except his boxers, and battle the new student.

The student sadly lost to him and as a rule on losing for the student, he is now in dept on Tsuna.

After battling the new student, Tsuna now has a odd friend who seems to be normal will other people but changes his persona when he is alone and his real persona sometimes slips when some specific things happens.
