His village was the first to be attack and slaughtered...

He didn't suffered the same fate like his kind for he was away and was serving with the King on an important project.

When he came back to his village. He saw the a lot of dust...

And when a monster dies...

They turn to dust...

That day, he wasn't the same. The day he saw his lover's ring, covered in dust. That was the day his true self died along with them...

When he went back to tell the news to the King. The humans were already starting for an attack.

Unprepared, the monsters took a lot of damage on that surprise attack. That led to the war of humans and monsters.

The ground would be littered with carcass of humans and dust of monsters.

Eventually, the war had ended. The humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a spell...

Trapped underground, the monsters builted their new life there. The Cythori helped his fellow monsters by creating many things, alongside a skeleton named Wing Ding Gaster or Gaster for short.

The two were close friends. So one day, Gaster decided to invite the Cythori for a walk. Considering the two haven't been outside for awhile since they we're staying up and doing some research on an invention they are working in.

The two strolled around in Snowdin and found a bar there. Getting hungry and maybe have a drink to drown a bit of their problems away. The two went in.

The place was run by a fire monster who is named Grillby. Ordering burgers and a few drinks. The two manage to be acquainted with the fire monster.

It didn't take long for the two to be a regular there. Coming once their work would be done and be chatting with Grillby.

The two monsters though, Gaster and Grillby, they develop a deep feeling on the Cythori...

Who will have this man's heart?

Will the Cythori accept their feelings?
