I should probably introduce myself. My name’s Aidan and I’m not like most people. Not like that I’m a serial killer or a child molester, but I am pretty weird. Mostly because I’m a boy who just so happens to have a vagina. I’ve only been on T for a few months, and I started saving up for my surgeries. But I’m nowhere close to the amount I need. That’s why I’m hoping my band takes off. I sing, scream, and play violin for Our Cathartic Threnody, and I also write all our songs. We’re currently preparing to go on tour with Motionless In White and Black Veil Brides. Our sound is pretty similar to MIW’s allusive horror-tinged post-hardcore, but we have more of a classical, Gothic edge due to the violin and keyboard. I want this tour to be fun, but no one knows I’m physically female except for my bassist Alley and keyboardist Chester. It’s going to be a supreme pain in the ass to wear a binder all the time, and make sure I sound like Kellin and not Katelynne Quinn. It’s hard work being a guy…
