We’d been on tour for a few weeks, and I had become very close to Black Veil Brides’ new drummer, Christian “CC” Coma. I’d been backstage goofing around while MIW was onstage, singing Fuck You by Cee Lo Green, and being really overdramatic, and he started laughing at me. “What the hell’s so funny?” “You’re too cute to be saying ‘fuck’ so much…” “And you’re obviously so drunk you don’t realize you’re hitting on your tour mate.” “Allow me to counter that with the point that you’re so damn naïve you think I can’t see right through you…” My eyes grew wide. “What do you mean?” He backed me into a corner. “I know your secret. The others are too wrapped up in themselves and their childish rivalries to notice anything else. I know you’re trans, and I think you’re gorgeous. I’m not going to blackmail you or anything, I just wanted to ask you out in secret.” “Ask me out….?” It took me a minute to realize he wanted to date me. “Oh shit, I’m slower than I thought.” He laughed. “Will you be my boyfriend?” I nodded. “Good.” He hugged me. After the show we had some time to kill, so we went out in search of sushi and a good strip club. While we were eating, I poked him with a chopstick. “So, is this like a date or something?” “Well, if it’s a date, I have a better idea of what to do than go to a strip club.” I gave him a flat stare. “If you mean hooking up, you can go fall in a hole and die.” He rolled his eyes. “I meant getting to know each other better, you moron.” I flicked a piece of ginger at him, and he caught it with his mouth. “Nice try.” I stuck my tongue out and resumed eating. After dinner, we went back to the hotel and Christian threw Jake out of the room they were sharing. Jake was pissed, but he went and crashed in Andy and Ashley’s room. I dove onto the nearest bed and he flopped down next to me. His hair fell in his face and he wrinkled his nose as he tried to blow it away. I giggled and brushed the hair out of his eyes. He smiled. “You even laugh adorably…” He pounced on me playfully, and kissed my cheek. I squealed loudly and he silenced me with a kiss. I smiled against his lips and he held me tight. I nuzzled into his neck. “I’m sleeping here, okay?” “Okay.”
