My new friend

Your pov.

"I'm done with my shift see you all tomorrow. " I said waving good bye along with my Pokemon. It was dark and a couple of blocks down three people with skull bandanas stood in front of me.

"Listen give us your Pokemon. " one if them said with blue hair. I rolled my eyes and turned around with my Pokemon.

"Don't you dare ignore us like that! " the blue haired guy said.

"Yeah nobody ignores our leader! " the guy next to him shouted.

"Yeah! " a girl with pink hair said. We were a couple feet away and they hand their Pokemon come out. I just stood their looking at them up and down.

"Oh my gosh I'm so scared someone help me! " I said sarcastically.

"Just give us your Pokemon and well be on our way if we scare you that much. Which is how it's suppose to be. " their leader said.

"You guys are really that dumb. That was called sarcasm. " I said. They had their Pokemon attack me but before they can even get close to me or my Pokemon a midnight form Pokemon stood in front of me. With just one hit the three Pokemon were defeated.

"You'll regret this! " all three shouted in fusion. They got their Pokemon in poke balls and stared to run. The Pokemon in front of me turned to look at me.

"Thank you but my Pokemon could've handled it. But I appreciate you help very much. " I said petting him. Then he returned inti his poke ball. I looked at his trainer and saw a blonde guy. All my Pokemon jumped in my arms except for picchu he got on my head.

"If you didn't act soon you would've been toast. " he said.

"No I wouldn't I trained my Pokemon just for this. " I said.

"My name is Gladion. " he said. "What's yours? " he asked.

"My name is (y/n). "I said.

"Nice name. " he said.

"You have a nice name too. And I like both of you Pokemon. They're cool. "I said.

"Oh ugh....thanks. " he said.

"Cya around then. " I said and walked home.

"Wait would you like me to walk with you? " he asked and I turned to look at him.

"It's sweet of you but I'm a big girl I can walk by myself. Thank you for offering though. " I said and gave him a soft smile.

"Gladion! " I heard someone shout. I looked and saw Lilly. We both looked at each other wide eyed. "(Y/n)?" She asked and I started to run.

"Wait! " Gladion shouted I took a turn and got home. I walked into my house and put my Pokemon down on the couch.

"Meow. " Liz said. I looked at her and shaked my head. "Meow meow meow." She said.

"Liz I can't believe you, you think that Ash comes to the restaurant everyday with Mallow. Just to make me jealous." I said.

"Meow. " she said.

"And now you want me to hang out with Gladion to make Ash jealous no that's not going to happen. " I said.

"Meow, meow,meow" she said.

"Liz I'm not going to pretend to love someone just to make someone jealous. " I said. "Now go to sleep, please? I'm not going to be like that. " I said and went to sleep.

Next morning...

I heard exploding outside. I quickly ran downstairs and looked outside. Only to see Gladion. He looked at me and stopped.

"So this is where you live. " he said and I nodded my head. "Well, why would you live out here? " he asked.

"I know it's not in the best conditions, but it has it's perks. " I said.

"Hey, why did you run away from Lily yesterday? " he asked.

"She's your sister isn't she? " I asked. And he just nodded. "It's a long story. " I said.

"Come on tell me. " he said.

"Fine in one condition. " I said and he nodded his head.

"Don't tell anyone, and I mean nobody that I live here, k? " I said and he nodded.

Time skips because I don't want to write that all down...

"Oh. " he said.

"Yeah, I really didn't like the idea of stealing but me and Liz just needed to survive. " I said.

"So you and Ash... " he cut himself off.

"Yeah, we dated but not anymore. Ever since we got here he hasn't payed any attention to me as if I didn't exist. He only hanged out with his friends at the Pokemon school. I felt like garbage again. " I said. "But oh well that's what I get for trying to love. I guess love really isn't in my book, or vocabulary. " I said and looked down.

"Well if he's using Mallow to get you jealous. Then, why don't you do the same to him? " he asked.

"Oh no I can't do that. I can't pretend to love someone. I don't want to break their heart, I can't have their heart like mine. " I said.

"Well why don't you and me just pretend that were dating then? I came up with the idea so I won't be heartbroken. " he said. I looked at him shocked.

"No, no I can't possibly do that. " I said.

"Come on. " he said. I looked at him and I sighed.

"Fine looks like we're "boyfriend" and "girlfriend ". I said. He grabbed my arms and we went to the city.

"Liz your in charge. Don't burn the house down. " I said. We got to the beach and I sighed. "This is such a beautiful view. " I said and he nodded.

"Gladion! " I heard someone shout. I eye cornered Gladion. He looked at me and nodded. He turned to face the guy with a straight face. "Who's that?" He asked. That voice was so familiar.

"This is my girlfriend. " Gladion said. I turned around and saw Ash. I acted natural. Gladion was holding my hand and I was holding his hand back.

"Ash! " I heard someone shout. I knew that voice it had to be Mallow. She stopped in front of us.

"Yeah well Mallow is my new girlfriend! " Ash shouted. Mallows face heated up.

"Alright. " I said. Gladion wrapped his arms around my waist. He pulled me closer to him and kissed my forehead. I just smiled.

"Hey, want to go eat? " Gladion asked.

"Sure I'd be happy to. " I said and we walked off. When we we're far from Ash and Mallow I looked at Gladion with teary eyes.

"Don't worry. Didn't you see how mad he looked. He was only using her. " he said and gave me a reassuring smile. My tears went away and I smiled back at him.

We went to go eat and it was nice. He took me home and I waved him goodbye. I laid on my bed and fell asleep.
