1. Be a good listener. Talk in terms of the other man's interests.
2. Never forget to say a kind and encouraging word to or about somebody. Praise good work done, regardless of who did it. If criticism is to be done, criticize helpfully, never spitefully.
3. Be interested in others and be interested in their welfare.
4. Communicate cheerfulness. Keep the corners of your mouth turned up.
5. Talk about your own mistakes before criticizing thr other person.
6. Discourage gossip and make it a rule to say nothing about another unless it is something good.
7. Do things to make people feel important.
