"Murderer. Traitor. You can never flee your crimes." I remembered her. She was in my every nightmare, dream, and daydream. Making out with Mason, remembering it over and over, like a washing machine, or one of those Furby toys that won't shut up. Stupid ADHD. Stupid world. Stupid life. "Great" I silently cursed myself. "I got caught."
I was on the run again. Away from my old life. I had another flashback. "Sorry Percy, we want your baby sister Christina as normal as possible" I was angry. She was going to say something but I cut her off. "You TOO!?!" Of all people, I didn't expect her to betray me. I ran out of the house before she could make me madder.( Is that a word?)
"We just want you for the meeting," said Artemis "We don't bite hard." The rest of the hunters snickered quietly. I said, barely audibly, "You used that ploy on me about 4 months ago, get something new." The ones that did hear me scowled. The ones that didn't... well they were even worse thinking I was insulting the "Great and Mighty Artemis" Thalia kicked the back of my knee, and I crumpled to the floor. Great, her too? A person next to Artemis said, "That wasn't too hard was it Artemis?" I replied, saying, "Well, excuse me, but my teacher didn't make me read "101 ways to escape Artemis" " "Ah, little hero, your time is up." Said the person. Then everything went dark.
I was in a dream. Everyone circling yelling "why" "You traitor", or my personal favorite "Go die in a hole" When this actually happened, I replied with, "I tried, and failed." This time I couldn't make any sassy comments. That was the worst part about dreams and flashbacks. Then I woke up.( Quote Sea of Monsters Movie- it sucked but still-)
"I heard the voice of Gaia in my head, "Join me, little hero. They betrayed you after you saved them twice." I said,"I will under 2 conditions 1. Free me 2.I will be your assassin. Not slave, or warrior. An Assasin." She agreed to the terms and we shook on it.
