Chapter 5

Betty's POV

It's been a couple of days since we've been to the restaurant and I still haven't told him yet. I just keep wussing out. Archie, Veronica, Kevin, and Joaquin are the only ones who know. I've all ready decided to tell him today. There's no turning back now. I've brought home plenty of burgers from Pop's and restocked the fridge with some of his favorite milkshakes and let's not forget getting him a couple of orders of fries. Now I just have to wait until Juggie gets home. He's been letting me work from home lately not wanting me to puke while in our office. I love how sweet and considerate he was. I've dressed up in a comfy flowly black t-shirt and sweatpants to hide the tiniest bump I've got to replace my stomach. I can't believe I didn't notice it sooner am I really that oblivious? I've decided to wrap up my pregnancy test in a little gift bag and along with it a little onesie that said "Daddy's little helper" on it with a picture of a burger. Now all I have to do is wait.

Time skip Jughead gets home

Betty's POV

The door opens to reveal my handsome husband. I immediately run over to him and engulf him in a hug. "I've missed you Juliet!" He coos and rubs my back while repetitively placing kisses all over my face. "I've missed you too Juggie! Now sit down I have a surprise!" I chirp as I lead him to the table placing down 3 burgers 2 orders of fries and 1 vanilla milkshake. "You did this all for me?" He asks in disbelief and I nod. "Thanks Betts for everything I got lucky didn't I?" He asks and I nod. "As did I! But it's not over yet eat up! I've got another surprise after."

Jughead's POV

After dinner Betty comes back in the room with a gift bag. I automatically feel bad because I didn't get her anything in return. "Betts you didn't have to get me anything having you is just enough!" She blushed. "Open it!" She squealed and I do as she says and carefully dig through the bag to find a medium gift box. "Open it!" She squeals again and I do. I open the black box to be met with a pregnancy test that had two lines on it and a burger onesie. I'm going to be a dad!

Betty's POV

He opens it and once I see the faint tears in his eyes I realized he figured out what it means and I begin to worry what if this isn't what he wants. "I'M GOING TO BE A DAD!" He shouts and runs to me picking me up and twirling me around hugging me close to his body. By now we're both crying happy tears of joy. He quickly lets go of me and bends down lifting up my shirt and examining my tiny bump running his silky smooth hands down it. "You've got a bump!" He scream whispers. "Yep!" I smile and he does to. "Hi baby I'm your Daddy. I just want to to know that your Mommy and I love you very much and can't wait to meet you!" He tells my belly while rubbing it. And that's how we spent the rest of our night curled up on the couch talking to our baby. I'm so happy that Jughead's excited to be a Dad. This is yet another adventure to add to the manny more that we'll go on in our lives together.
