This is going to be short because I have no experience with these child reader stories I'm sorry ;-;

Your eyes were glued on the one and only Maya Fey, the head of the Kurain Village who was on the parade float that was cruising throughout the village. You admired her so dearly. Everytime that an event was coming up, you'd beg your parents to take you until they gave in. You admired her from afar. She was every child's role model in the village. Heck, there was a fanclub in your school.
Maya was waving to the people from her float and saw you, vigorously waving at her. She giggled to herself a bit and waved back at you. You eyes lit up and you sent another wave, a small one this time. Your role model waved back to you! She acknowledged you! You felt a small blush come up from your baby cheeks.
The parade float continued, but it was out of your sight. You were so happy, that she had waved at you. You admired her, even if you couldn't become a spirit medium like her. You looked up to her because you heard stories of her using her powers to help a lawyer in court and aiding those who wanted to talk to their beloved ones that had passed away. You wanted to help others like her.
And you hoped that you could do that in the future.
