I opened my eyes and heard loud beeping sounds next to my ear.I looked around and realized that I was in a bedroom that I wasn't familiar with.I turned to my right and saw that Farrah and Taylor are sitting right next to my bed. "Where did I get dumped to?" I asked confused.They looked at each other and Farrah said "where do you think you are?You're in the Hospital.The doctors said you had a concussion and want to make sure nothing more serious will happen." I looked at Taylor and she half smiled and said "we came straight over here once school was over." I looked around and peeked out the room and asked "where's my mom.Isn't she here.Shouldn't that old lady be here,right beside me!" They looked at each other and Taylor said "umm,that we know of,your mom isn't here."
The nurse walked in the room and said "Hayden,you're wake.How are you feeling?" I grabbed my head and said,"we'll I'm in pain.My head really hurts." She looked at me like if she knew what I was feeling "we'll of course it does sweetie,you had a concussion.You're being discharged.Do you know where your parents are?" I looked at her with a disappointed face and replied "no I don't know where my mother is.She doesn't really care about me." The nurse looked at Farrah and Taylor then said "well just sign here,and you can go home." The nurse put my clothes that I came in with on the bed.Farrah,Taylor and the nurse walked out together so I could get dressed.I cleaned myself up and walked out to the lobby and saw Taylor and Farrah talking.They looked at one another as I reached them.We started walking down the hallway,"Why did you guys stay?" I asked with curiosity. "Well that's what friends are for.They stick together through tough times." Taylor said.Farrah followed up and added "don't worry Hayden.We will get through this together.I know how you feel.I was bullied too,I've gone through what you're going through." I looked at her with sympathy and smiled.
We walked out of the Emergency Room and we got onto Taylor's moms car.We drove down the road and I noticed that there was an odd person walking down the sidewalk.He or she was wearing all black with a hoodie over their head,and it looked like it was carrying weapon.It turned to look at me and their eyes shined a dark purple in the moonlight.We neared our house and she asked where I lived and I told her my address.Ms. Macari smiled and said "really,we live right across the street from each other then." Farrah looked shocked and said "no way I live on that same street!" Taylor's mom stopped in front of Farrah's house and she got off the car and said "bye you guys,see you tomorrow at school." "Bye," Taylor and I said.She drove down the street a little further and we reached our houses.Taylor's mom parked up their drive way and said "good bye Hayden,see you around.Get well!" I looked at Taylor and said "see you tomorrow in class." She looked at me and smiled , " see you tomorrow Hayden," she responded.
I crossed the street and saw a mysterious person in a black hoodie on.I noticed that they were walking fast.I reached my front gate and they wrapped their arm around me and put a knife up to my throat.I grabbed their arm with both my hands trying take the knife away.My heart started beating extremely fast and I started breathing heavily. "Calm down kid!Just don't let them find you!Or you will be killed within a slit.Don't trust anyone,kid," they said.It sounded like a man's voice.They let go and dropped me to the floor.They walked away and I asked "who are you?!What do you have to do with me?What do you mean they?!Hey come back!" A car drove up the sidewalk and he got on and they drove away.I ran after the car screaming "wait come back!" They drove too fast for me to catch up.I looked down where they threatened me,there was a necklace on the ground.It must have been his.I picked it up and and looked at it.I sighed,put it in my pocket and walked in the house.
