Rosie Weimar.

I once again found myself on the branch of a tree. I should honestly consider making a home out of it. I had sprinted so fast that I myself had no idea where I was.

I was lost.

I sighed and decided to just spend my day here. Unlike other vampires, I was gifted by some of the abilities. One of them being I could roam around in sunlight. Usually, I take advantage of this situation, where at this time I search for a long term safe place for me to stay, looking at the fact that no Vampires would creep me out in day times. The only thing I had to make sure was I don't bump into a hunter, I always had to keep my face hidden.

If only they knew about me.

I just hope everything gets over for once and for all. It's tiring to work my legs everytime even with powers. I hardly get any room to breathe. I sigh and look at the sky. The sun was in sight and the birds were excited for yet another beginning, it would've been so better if I was bird instead. At least I didn't have to worry about running my legs all the damn time.

I rolled my eyes and shook my head at my thoughts. Of course hungerness was taking over. I should be happy at least I'm not dead....yet.

My stomach growls and I groan as once again I had to get down and get in the town to steal some food.

Sounds adventurous.

I huff, let's just get this over with.

I came across the sign on the board that read 'The Eastern Tower' with the symbol to the right, indicating the entrance 500 m away. I had read a lot about this part of the city. It was known for peace and nonviolence. Only spiritual and calm minded people were allowed here. The best thing about this city was the fact that vampires and humans were in good terms. There was no bloodshed and war around here, and in case they happen to find anyone engaging in such behavior, they were held prisoners in the cell and their only punishment was to meditate. They say even the evil ones turn into angels after their treatment of meditation in the cell. I would'nt have believed, if it wasn't for the fact that it was indeed the truth.

The government of this side of city happen to be the Queen's half brother, also a Royal Vampire. The blood relation kept the Queen away from causing this city into a bloodshed battleground....or so people say. I knew it wasn't true.

The government definitely had something in his power that could destroy the Queen.

Sadly, I knew my entry was restricted here. No Pure Blood Vampires were allowed inside because apparently they thought we were all made up of Queen's evil trap. There was literally a restriction sign in the board.

I sighed. This was harder than I thought. I wonder what would happen if I break the rules and enter anyway? It's not like I mean harm to anyone, it's clearly a place for me, where I can see myself living peacefully. Even if I'm held prisoner, my only punishment would be meditating.

What could possibly go wrong?

I bit my lips and contemplated on my thoughts. My life was anyway on stake, It was either I risk or regret.

"Here goes nothing." I whisper and push my feet forward towards the gate.

When I reach the entrance of the city, I stopped. There were two guards on either side of the entry gate. They were buffy and held a straight face. I was a nervous wreck. What if they recognize my face? I'd be doomed. I tightened the hood on my head, keeping my gaze to the ground. I started walking straight inside, not once moving my gaze from the ground.

The feeling of electric shot through me and in no second I was inside 'The Eastern Tower' City.

What just happened?

My brows were furrowed in confusion. I glanced at the guards from the corner of my eyes but their face held the same expression as before. They hardly glanced my way.

There were people around. Some were walking and laughing out loud, while the others were in the corner, meditating. People walked inside and out from the Eastern Tower gate and I still stood there in confusion. The electrified shot that ran through me left my mind hazzled and once more I glanced towards the entrance.

That's when it occurred to me.

The freaking invisible barrier.

They had the barrier so no pure blood could enter the The Eastern Tower.

Then how the hell did I get in?

This just created more confusion in my head. Of course I was a Pure Blood right? Then how did I even enter the gates? What's really happening?

People around me minded their own business. They were so much into their peace that they least cared about poking their nose in somebody else's business. And for this, I was grateful. Though there was this feeling inside which was nagging me and making me spin my head, at the thought of being caught, but somehow I pushed the thought behind my head. After all, we got the bigger problems to deal with.

Sighing, I started to move my feet towards hell knows where. I was oblivious to the paths and I didn't know where I should go.

Perhaps to the government?

Yeah, right. I don't want to be kicked out too soon from here.

Further away I saw a man slicing up the breads and was handing bowls of a chicken curry to the people. He was providing food to each one of them, vampires included. At the same time, my stomach decided to groan and I huffed. I wondered if I'll be able to eat peacefully without getting caught this time? Sighing at the thought, I started walking towards the man, keeping my head still low and covered with my hood.

"How is your day going?" The man asked as he decided to make small talks while pouring the chicken curry for me in the bowl.

A small smile takes a way upon my face, it's been a while since I've been asked a normal question rather than 'Will you come willingly to the Queen or we have to make you?', and mind it, it wasn't even a question to begin with, more like a threat. You're all free to guess what I had did next.

The thing that you always do, you ran.

"It's tiring." I say truthfully in a small voice, still keeping my gaze down.

"In that case, here's a Marzipan to keep you going." I could see a genuine and an encouraging smile on his face.

He places one more bowl on my plate and my stomach grumbles at the sight of Marzipan.

I whispered a soft gratitude before finding a place to the corner and eat peacefully.

The curry looked appetizing and I dived in to the tasty bliss. I sighed in satisfaction as my tongue came into contact with the chicken. The whole meal was way too delicious.

"Enjoying?"

I hear a familiar voice from beside me.

I open my eyes and turn my head, only to meet the forest green ones, the ones I've been running from.

There goes my peaceful time.

"Fancy finding you here, weren't you the Pure blood?"

He pushes himself from the wall he had been leaning on and steadily strides towards my form. His hard yet mischevious gaze kept me rooted to the ground and I was unable to find my voice or run my legs at the sight of him.

How the hell did he find me?

I gulped when I see him taking out his dagger from his jacket. There was nobody around as I had found myself an aloof place to eat in my lonesome.

"I wonder what would the government do when he realises who entered in his aboard." He threatens stopping right in front of me.
