Chapter 2: Change

Time passed so fast. It was already two weeks since Meliodas and the rest left Liones.Zeldris, unable to bear the pain of the princess, decided to tell her everything.He told her why they left witgot considering to take her with them. Since then, the princess and the demon started trusting each other more deeply. Zeldris telling the princess his dark past as she listened to him quietly and curiously, not even once doubting him. After the long history of his life it was her turn to tell him about her. So the two were inseparable, developing a deep and meaningful friendship. When Elizabeth had dancing lessons or riding lessons, he was always there to guard her.Always when the day was over, they went to walks through the woods, discussing all sorts of things and their opinions.This change of Elizabeth had not gone unnoticed by the guards, the people, the two sisters, and even the king, who was very pleased with his daughter, who fulfilled all her responsibilities but at the same time had fun.Elizabeth had forgiven the members of the seven sins. But she still did not understand why they did not tell her. She would never be upset to go after Meliodas's greatest love even though she loved Meliodas. But without their secretive departure she would not have the chance to interact with Zeldris. For her Zeldris was unique. She could talk openly to him and feel completely understood even if he was a complicated person. He was sincere and straightforward , never trying to hide anything from Elizabeth. Even though he seemed harsh at times, he had a good heart.And even without realizing Elizabeth was physically and mentally attached to Zeldris. Always talking to him, walking with him, having their on safe place and world, and from Zeldris point of view he was  more protective and attached to her, always being by her side. They even had a secret place where they had to ride in order to get there. That place was right next to a waterfall.Yet they did not know that the seven sins were preparing to return home with Liz in a few days disturbing the fragile sense of normality Elizabeth was feeling.
