Lincoln Park
~In the end,Its not the years in your life that count. Its the life in your years.T
hat day started like any other. It was a saturday morning In June, I was laying in bed bored out of my mind. Until I got a text from my best friend Jessie but everyone calls her J for short.
🔥JJ Fire🔥: Hey come to the park
I got hella excited, I love going outside and hanging with my friends and being a one with nature headass. I texted her back quickly.👅Lia Baby👅: Kk lemme go ask my grandmama
I texted J then jumped out of bed, and walk through my two bedroom apartment my grandma and I live in. I found her In the kitchen cooking dinner . I didn't know if she was in a good mood or not so I thought to butter her up just a tad bit.
"Heyy My most favorite Grandma in the world, who I love dearly". She rolled her eyes quickly.
"What do you want child?" She said turning around from the stove.
" Can I go to the park with Jess, and the gang". She huffed lowly
"Just be back before eight Li Li".
I was actually surprised she usually never lets me go out, its not that she is strict, she just dosent like the friends I hang around with, my friends aren't the best but I love them no matter what they have been there when I couldn't be for myself thats why I love them so much.
I was already dressed so I grabbed my small travel sized backpack and headed out the door. Ive grown up in this neighborhood my whole life, I know the ins and outs, who to rock wit and who not too. Im pretty chill with everyone in the neighborhood. I try to stay away from the gangs and shit but they are all over the place
