"There are two types of people who will tell you that you cannot make a difference in this world: those who are afraid to try and those who are afraid you will succeed."
(Malia's Grandma in the media)"Lets go get a drink ma, my names Xavier by the way"
"Ok" I said hopping off of the couch giggling I really had nothing better to do, we walked over to the area with all the drinks and I saw Jessie sitting in Nasir's lap kissing all up on him.
" At least someone's having fun" I whispered under my breath, I guess Xavier heard me because he bent down to my ear and whispered " Oh baby your gonna be having more then fun tonight", sending a shiver down my spine.
Before I could even pick up a cup myself, Xavier handed me a solo cup, After my first sip my face contorted in disgust " What the fuck is this shit". He laughed at my reaction, it burned my throat but left me warm inside
"Its henny baby" he said still laughing"Dont call me that" I said eyeing him I hate when people call me that I dont even know why it just annoys me.
I took a huge gulp of the drink. He grabbed my hand and he took me to the backyard, we sat by the pool, an awkward silence between us.
" Where is queen since this is her party after all and I haven't seen her at all" I asked Xavier sipping on my drink.
" She's out taking care of some business she will be here soon"
"I wanna know why people act so scared of her" I said confusion laced in my voice. Xavier just giggled at me "Your cute you know that". I just giggled at him.... niggas. I've known him for not even 3 hours and he's starting with the baby, and suck up ass compliments.
Xavier and I chilled outside by the pool talking about our life, I found out Queen is his sister and he helps run the business with her, that he moved here 2 years ago from Atlanta, and he's single.
I gave him a short explanation of my life, I didn't want him to know to much about my it I barely know the dude and you have to choose who you can trust living around here, I felt the henny kicking in I know why everyone loves this shit so much now.
All of a sudden Xavier and I heard some shouting and cheering coming from the front of the house, and being the nosy person I was I went to look.
I kinda wish I didnt
