Wanting to have little to do with this and the infuriating Vandermir, she none the less convinces herself that his decisions would be best for her family's own safety. But when things begin to get out of hand, she discovers that she has more to do with the dangerous situation Adrian is involved in than she or anyone else could ever imagine. In the hopes of ending the matter, both must endure each other's company as they take a trip together which reveals unbearable past secrets and irresistible desires. Desires that Julie fears would only deepen her wounds, but somehow heal Adrian's.
Review: The story opens upto Julie Green looking for a job fresh out of college but she ends up at the wrong place at the wrong time and gets mixed up with some old acquaintances of her family, which hold a lot of secrets. After thinking you lost everything again and again how can one survive and still have the will to live, much more the will to fight? Adrian Vandermir is probably your next door broading millionaire but there's much more that meets the eye and he has a certain soft spot for someone.
I personally loved this story a lot and couldn't stop reading it. It goes smoothly as there aren't any loop holes. Instead of magically falling in love with the guy or lusting after him there are solid experiences and reasons that make the couple end up together. The main hero and heroin go through a lot of dark shit together resulting in strenghthening their bond which shows a lot of character development. It's like a fresh breath of air as the story isn't cliché. The thing I loved the most was that there aren't one but three major plot twists. Each of them rendering the reader speechless and in awe. The story has a constant element of suspense and the reader wants to keep on reading which is rare. After finishing the story, it still takes you a few days to forget about it. It doesn't have any mature scenes but the sexual tension and chemistry between the couple gives you butterflies. I'd recommend it for reading. Adios! Until next time.
