Chapter 8

Zion's POV

I stayed at Britney's house for about an hour or 2.

We were just talking....aight more like making out.

Anyways all of a sudden she got off of me.

"FUCK! Zion what time is it?" She screamed.

I looked at my phone.

"Almost 7. Why?" I replied.

"OMG! ZION! YOU HAVE TO GO NOW!"

She pulled me up and literally pushed me out the door.

"Wait! Why?"

"Just cause! Love you bye!"

She kissed my lips and slammed the door.

That was strange.

I shrugged it off. I still have some time to spare.

I decided to go to Camz house since our hang out got fucked up.

I was just walking there.

Suddenly Camz came to mind. Why? I have no clue.

That's when I realized how beautiful her smile is.

I just kept thinking about her smile, her laugh, her eyes, her.

I found myself smiling at the thoughts.

This was random af.

I arrived at her house.

I was about to walk in when I heard people talking.

I peeked in and saw the whole crew was there.

Why wasn't I called?

I got a little angry until I heard my name.

"Zion's just gonna have to believe us when we tell him. He would if we're really his best friends." Brandon said.

I was confused.

"Tell me whaaa?" I asked.

They all turned around and was in complete shock.

I made my way to the couch.

"What did you want to tell me that I won't believe?"

I saw that they all got tense.

I rode one of my really thick eyebrows. (A/N: sorry I had to mention his big eyebrows 😂 love you Zion 🤣💛)

I know they're hiding something.

I sat next to Camz.

"Uhh...Hey Zion. What are you doing here?" Camz asked nervously.

I looked at her suspiciously.

"Well I was at Britney's house until she told me to leave all of a sudden. So I decided to come here and hang out with you until I saw the whole crew was here. Why wasn't I called?"

I heard Edwin cough and Brandon nudged him.

Now I know for sure that they hiding something from me.

They all looked at each other reassuringly and nodding.

"Who about to spill the beans?" Yasmin asked.

Tell me what?

I'm so fucking confused.

"We all gonna tell him since we all saw it." Camz told.

Now I'm really confused. What happen? What did they see?

Camz started "Zion...Earlier today, Yasmin saw something that will break your heart. And me , Brandon, and Jessica saw something the other day. In school."

"What did you see?" I asked getting tense.

She took a deep breath.

"But Zion. You gotta promise us that you'll believe us."

"Of course ill believe y'all. Y'all my best friends." I exclaimed.

"Zion. Just promise us."

"Aight fine. I promise."

I saw Yasmin whisper something to Brandon, Jessica, Edwin, and Camz and they all nodded.

She started talking.

"Earlier today I went to Starbucks and I saw Britney....Kissing another nigga......"

My jaw dropped and my eyes widened.

I was about to speak but thy cut me off.

"And the other day we caught her kissing another nigga in school." Jessica said.

My mind was too much in thoughts.

"Aight deadass guys stop lying and tell me what you saw."

"We not lying Zion. We're your best friends why would we lie to you about that?" Edwin told me.

This has to be a lie.

"Nah. She didn't." I said trying not to cry.

"I'm sorry Zion but she's not good for you. We all know that." Yasmin told me.

"DONT SAT THAT! I LOVE HER!" I suddenly yelled.

They all looked scared.

I immediately regretted it.

Camz stood up.

"ZION! SHES JUST USING YOU! SHE DOESNT LOVE YOU! WE DO! SHES EVEN CHANGING YOU AND YOU DONT EVEN CARE!" Camz yelled loudly.

"SHUT UP CAMZ! QUIT LYING!"

"IM NOT LYING ZION! IM YOUR FRIEND! I WOULD NEVER LIE!"

I couldn't take it anymore. I know Britney would never do this to me. Would she?

"SHE LOVES ME, CAMILA! UR JUST A JEALOUS BITCH! YOURE JUST JEALOUS THAT I SPEND MORE TIME WITH HER THAN YOU AND I LOVE HER MORE THAN YOU!" I yelled in her face.

I looked at her and the crew.

Jaws dropped except for Camila's.

Tears streaming down her face and lip quivering.

I regretted what I said.

"Camz I-"

"Out."

"What?"

"I SAID GET OUT ZION! I DONT WANNA SEE YOUR FACE!"

I went to her and tried to give her a hug but she rejected me.

"So much for best friends and promises huh? You really have changed Zion. You really have. You're not the guy I became best friends with. He's gone." She whispered and shook her head. She continued. "And worst of all...I seen the side of you I never wanted to see.."

With that, she ran upstairs and to her room.

I was about to run up to her until Brandon and Edwin stopped me.

"Just get out of here Zion. You're not part of the crew anymore. You've changed and we don't like it one bit." Brandon said disappointingly.
