Ryan's POV**
About two months passed and I still haven't talked to my new neighbour. I had heard from Peter that her name was Aria Alston. I haven't exactly met her...yet. But I've caught glimpses of her; and she was beautiful. I really, really liked her. She had shoulder-length black hair and she really liked to read. I see her pass by the window of her room and she seemed to have been bringing a book with her. Like every time.
She only went out once or twice a week and those times were when she goes to the church on Sundays and on Saturdays when she goes to the mall. And for the rest of the week? She stays locked up in her house. I wonder why she doesn't like going out. Mind, I'm that way too. I'd rather spend my day inside my game room and play for life. But that's not gonna happen anyway. School was coming up next week and today was Thursday. I hate school. Who doesn't? I'll be heading to my parents' house this Saturday; where there is no game room. And no Xbox One. A tear ran down my cheek just thinking of that.
"Grab a burger, Ry. You've been staring into space for about three minutes now. Thinking of Aria are you?" Garrett teased and he and Peter started making fun of me. Both Garrett and Peter were my best friends and they were the only people on Earth who knows I have a teeny tiny crush on that Aria girl, and they were not helping. At. All.

Monday, 7:00 AM.
Teet. Teet. Teet.
"Oh my gosh, shut up!" I seized my alarm clock, trying to quiet it down as I fell to the ground. "Ack!" I yelped and there was a loud thud. My alarm clock continued teet-ing stupidly. I stood up, gathering my balance and punched the 'stop' button. "Ugh," I grumbled as I crawled back in bed.
"Al Ryan Turner, get up! You have education to go to!" My mom yelled bossily from downstairs. I groaned and pulled my sorry ass out of bed.

"Sup, man," I high-fived Garrett and Peter.
"Hey, guys," I said plainly. I was still half asleep and I just really wanna get back to bed now. The boys seemed to notice it because my eye was itching and I had huge eye bags from last night's computer game: Minecraft.
"You okay?" Garrett asked.
"No," I grumbled. "I have an annoying mother." I spat out angrily.
Peter patted me on the shoulder, "Don't worry, that's natural."
"Besides!" Garrett clung to my other shoulder and I just stared down at him. "Guess who showed up today." A grin grew across his face and he looked beyond me. I turned to wear he was looking and...
Aria walked shyly at the other side of the school corridor.
My heart beat literally stopped and I blacked out.
