And just like that, I was gone. Susquehanna, Pennsylvania was going to miss me!
My flight to LA was long and I slept most of the way there. When I got to the airport, of course they lost my luggage. *over the loud speaker* "Tatum Connor, will you please report to the help center, your luggage has been found" "Well that's embarrassing" I said to myself, trying not to attract anymore attention to myself. I walked over to the help center and I picked up my luggage. I sat down in a row of seats not to far away and I trifled through my purse trying to find my phone. I told my sister I would call her when I landed, and I intended to, even though I was dreading it.
Hailey: what the hell Tate! Your were supposed to come see me to talk, not say goodbye!
Me: well I decided that I was going to LA for sure and I didn't need u changing my mind.
Hailey: I'm supposed to change your mind, do you think I want my little sister running around Hollywood by herself!
Me: this is the only way I can try and find acting jobs, I sure as hell am not getting any in Pennsylvania.
Hailey: you don't have a place to live or anything what are u going to do??
Me: Hailey I gotta go my uber is here, see yah.
Hailey: no no wai- *beep beep beep your call has ended*
She was right I didn't have any idea where I was going to live, but I have enough money for hotels, for a little while anyways. I walked over to my uber who had been waiting for a little longer than he had liked. As I opened the door, I heard music blasting through the entire car! I guess he got bored while he was waiting. He looked embarrassed, because when I asked him who the band was he replied with "ummm th-there a boy band ca- called Why Don't We" I rolled my eyes. "Have you ever heard of them" he asked, attempting to make the situation less awkward. "Ah yah, I actually date- uh went to school with one of the band members" I said stuttering. "Really"! He shrieked! "Which one?"...."Uh, jack"... he smiled as I got out of the car and walked down the streets of Hollywood, I had no where to go and I was all alone.

I Hadn't booked a hotel room or previously made arrangements to stay anywhere so I guess I was sleeping on the streets for the night. It was nothing I hadn't done before but, I couldn't think straight. When I left Susquehanna I wasn't even thinking of who I might see in California. I knew jack had moved there to start a career but I never thought I was going to see him again. California is a big place, I probably won't even see him.... right?
