Chapter One

Six years later...

A black sleek Lexus eased it's way into the carpark of Prime Rose Kindergaten, Los Angeles.

It parked in front of the school and a lady alighted. From her designer clothes, one would tell that she was from the upper class.

She walked briskly into the school building as the bell rang.

"Mrs. Audrigo." The proprietress greeted her as she approached. "You came today, how nice it is to see you."

"It's nice to see you too Peggy." She replied. "How's Eva?"

"As cheerful as always." Was the prompt reply. "She got five stars today!"

"That's my daughter."

"Say Mrs Audrigo, will you be attending the fund raising..."

"Don't worry Peggy, I'll be there." She assured.

"Oh that's wonderful."

"I'll go get Eva now." She turned and headed for her daughter's class.

"Mom!" A little girl in golden curls cried seeing her, she ran and hugged her.

"How was school amadora?"

"Wonderful mom, I got five stars!"

"Now, that's my girl!" She smiled. "Let's go."

She took Eva's hand and they walked out of the school and headed for the car.

"Mom, why isn't uncle Tyler here to pick me?" The little girl asked.

"I just want to see my little girl and pick her from school for once."

"You don't have to mom, I know you're busy with work. Uncle T..."

"I'm never too busy for you mi amor."
She replied opening the back door and helping Eva in.

She then got into the driver's seat, started the car and drove off.

"So tell me big girl, is he hot or not?" Asked a blonde as she and het friend cooked dinner.

"Chloe, you need to stop setting me up on blind dates." Her friend sighed "What are you, a matchmaker?"

"Exactly Natalie, you can't go n like this forever. You are young and beautiful."

"With a child!" Natalie put in as she chopped carrots.

"So? Didn't Iñigo know that you had a child when he married you?" Chloe argued.

"That was different Chloe, he helped me when I ran away from my aunt."

"Or because he was filthy rich with one leg in the grave, and with the other on a banana peel."

"Chloe, he married me so that I could inherit his wealth. Not because I was ready to trust again, but because we had an agreement!"

"My point exactly.

Natalie sighed.

"What about Tyler? Don't you trust him, isn't he..." Chloe persisted.

"I trusted him Chloe, I trusted Iñigo. But I mean to trust a man with my heart. That, I can never do. Iñigo was like a father to me and Tyler is the brother I never had."

"You're so annoying." Chloe muttered as she knead the flour.

"What was that?" Natalie smirked.

Chloe turned to her and said.
"You Natalie Audrigo are very annoying. I wonder how Tyler puts up with you!"

"Dunno, maybe I don't pester him to get married like someone does." She shrugged inching closer to the tray of flour.

"What?! I'm your best friend and I only have your best interest at heart."

"Mhmm..." She inched closer.

"And I still think you and Tyler should get married." Chloe continued unaware of Natalie's hand hovering over the tray of flour.

"You might wanna say that again."
Natalie smirked again as she dipped her palm into the flour.

"I said you should..."

Natalie's Palm went straight to her friend's face, smearing it with flour!

"Now, you should marry Tyler!" She cried triumphantly.

"Why you..." Chloe hissed dipping her own palm into the flour and smearing it on Natalie's face. "There you go flour-face, wanna battle?"

"Oh it's so on!"

They began to Chase each other round the kitchen with flour.

They only stopped when Eva came running into the kitchen.

"Mom, uncle Tyler's here." She panted. "It's time for dinner."

"Or you mean daddy Tyler." Chloe sang into Natalie's ear.

"Go away Chloe." She pushed her away.

"You and auntie Chloe look funny." She laughed as she skipped out of the kitchen.

"Hello ladies." A tall ginger haired man with green eyes greeted walking into the kitchen.

"Hey Ty." They replied together.

"Ok, you guys look like dinner." He joked.

"Oh I'll make you the dinner Ty." Natalie hissed pointing a knife at him.

"Whoa Natalie bear, calm down." He laughed.

"Natalie bear?" Chloe spluttered. "More like Natalie-grizzly!" They both laughed as she scowled at them.

"Yip,yip,yip." She mimicked their laughter and they only laughed more. "You guys are unbelievable. "She sighed, then joined in the laughter.
