Lauren was just finishing up some of her homework when she heard a slight knock on the door. She made her way over to the door and opened it to see Mitch standing there with a bouquet of flowers in his arms.
"Hello beautiful." Mitch said with a smile on his face.
"Hey cutie, I didn't think you'd actually come." Lauren admitted.
"Do you think I would give up an opportunity to see my girl? But anyways, I have someone to ask you."
"Alright, come in. Grace just left for a class so she'll be gone for a bit." Lauren said as she opened up the door and Mitch walked into her small dorm room.
"So first thing, these are for you." Mitch told Lauren as he handed her the flowers he was holding.
"Aw, thank you! You didn't have to." Lauren said as she looked down at the flowers smiling.
"It goes with my second thing, Lauren, every since I first texted you, you've made me crazy. You are the sweetest, most devoted, driven, inspiring person I know and I want to get to know you even more and call you my girl and my other half. Lauren, will you be my girlfriend?" Mitch asked Lauren.
Lauren was immediately taken back, "Oh Mitch, you're too good for me. I would love to say yes but Mitch, I'm so focused on my career and my brand that I wouldn't want a guy to come in between that."
"Lauren, I promise to never make you pick over me and your work. If having to share you with your job and your brand means I can date the prettiest girl in the world, I would share you one hundred percent." Mitch said staring into Lauren's eyes.
"Oh you're good." Lauren said before looking Mitch in the eyes, "Mitch, I'll be your girlfriend."
"Good, because I've wanted to do this since the first time I saw you in person." Mitch said before leaning in and kissing Lauren.
