My Heart Needs Your Love

Tails sighed as he walked alone in the village. Zooey (tell me if I spelt that wrong) tried to cheer him up but the fox kept walking away.

What was wrong you ask? Well, he loves his speedy friend more then friends or brothers. Tails didn't know if Sonic would love him back or think it was disgusting. Tails didn't want to ruin the friendship he had with Sonic, so he didn't tell him.

The fox sighed again as he walked by himself and paused when a red echidna got in his way. "Why are you so sad, Tails? You never are this sad unless Sonic yelled at you again" the red echidna said. "Not now, Knuckles. And its not that. I love someone" Tails said.

"Zooey?" Knuckles asked. "No. Someone in our team" Tails said. "Sticks? Amy?" Knuckles guessed. "No. Stop guessing because I'm not telling you" Tails shot him an annoyed look. Knuckles shrugged and walked away, leaving the fox alone again.

'Stupid heart! He's not going to love me back because he only sees us as friends" Tails scolded his heart and sat down behind a building. He started to cry and heard footsteps. He wiped his tears away and looked up to see Sonic.

"What's wrong, buddy?" Sonic asked and Tails looked down. Sonic looked confused and sat down. "Tails, you can tell me. We're friends". He didn't noticed the fox's ears lowered as he said 'friends'. "Sonic, have you ever been in love with someone and can't tell them because it will ruin your friendship?" Tails asked.

Sonic looked at him confused. "What?"
