The sounds of cracks were heard from all over the dome, people looked to see beams of light
emerge from the dome, the dome itself began to shatter in an explosion of tiny shards.

The people in the dome were happy to bask in the sun once again. In the castle city, the cowardly general was summoned to the throne room.

「Yes, m'lord?」 The general asked

「You have failed me, General Ubel!」 the mysterious shouted.

A beam of light was shone down on General Uble and his form was changed as he screamed in agony, he became a winged being with blond, flowing hair under the voice's control. The voiced added

「Lia, you shall lead them now. Do not fail me」

The winged being nodded and walked out of the throne room.

At the camp, Vitus was sitting with Jedrek.

Vitus asked, "Why didn't you help?"

Jedrek looked him in the eyes, then responded "I thought you could use the workout, you've been out for a while."

He was about to smoke but decided to throw his pack of cigarettes in the air and blast a hole through it.

People looked to see Jedrek holding a gun, they were afraid and shocked by the piece of weaponry they were unfamiliar
with.

"This is gonna be a bitch to explain..." Vitus translated what he said to the people who
didn't understand Jedrek.

Vitus began to trip over a chair he didn't see, Jedrek caught him and pulled him close.

They stared at each other in awkward silence for three days straight, Ingrid tried everything she could to stop their 'interesting' starring match.

She finally threw water at them and they snapped out, they walked away and pretend that nothing happened.

Everyone was building up the settlement as another attack began, Jedrek unsheathed the large broadsword on his back.

"What the hell is that thing!?" Vitus exclaimed "My sword?" "That's not a fucking sword, that's a giant piece of metal!"

Jedrek shrugged and ran into battle, Vitus and Ingrid followed.

The trio smashed through the center but was stopped by a strong metaphysical force.

They were knocked back by a powerful explosion of light.

The winged being, Lia showed their face.

"Filth from the former barrier, my master has ordered me to eliminate you. You ruin his order"

Lia shot a large beam of light at them, but Vitus' talismans protected them. Lia was displeased but kept their composure.

They popped out the talisman barrier and Vitus his Lia with a sucker punch.

Vitus, Ingrid, and Jedrek ran around them while taking small strikes at them. Lia decided to aim at the settlement instead and blasted the man-made barrier.

They were shocked by Lia's cold, heartless action against innocent people.

They became angry and reckless, the coordination and technique were being mentally thrown off.

Lia smacked them all into the remains of the barrier after beating them to near death, he left after he watch the destruction and sorrow he left in his wake.

The trio woke up in an infirmary, the mag from earlier asked "Are you all well?"

They all got up, their bodies were too broken and wounded to move beyond that.

But they knew they couldn't stay down, the trio fought the pain to move.

Vitus, Jedrek, and Ingrid got dressed to train.

The trio trained together, they were too focused to notice their pain.

They were stopped by a large bull with an ax.

"I would like to help the cause...My name is Colin Domnall, I'm just a builder... But, I wish to help" He addressed them.

Vitus put his hand on his shoulder and nodded in agreement, more people showed up to join the fight.

Vitus had no idea why everyone jumped now to help, but he was elated to know people started to care about the settlement.

People began to start a war cry, but Vitus decided to hold a party to boost morale instead.

People were merry and dancing as musicians played, Jedrek and Vitus were surrounded as they tried to escape the dance circle.

The dancers stopped and looked at them, Jedrek sighed and grabbed Vitus by the hand and waltzed with him.

The musicians began to play a somber song to match their mood, Vitus was looking for a way to escape along with Jedrek.

They moved into every open spot, but people came in to watch after finishing their tasks.

Jedrek and Vitus decided to give up, they began to have fun as more people joined in with their dancing.

As the song stopped, they were
close enough to be within intimate range.

The competition of awkward silence began anew, Ingrid
threw water on them again.

She pointed to the south, a cloud was heading in their direction, they knew another battle was ahead of them.
