It took driving for 30 minutes in the wrong direction, then contemplating my attention span to get back on course.
I surely passed dozens of signs indicating where I was but because of the World Crisis, traffic was a little low so I figured it didn't matter which side of the interstate I was driving.
So the signs were backwards.
My stomach continued to ache and rumble, which I took as a good sign.
I probably would have been more worried if it went silent.
Since we had a faster means of transportation, I tried to drive straight through to Clarksville, TN.
If I was walking, I would have had a few days left but having a vehicle cuts that to a few hours.
We were almost there.
