I the threw my phone across the room and stomped up stairs.
Cora's P.O.V
I saw Luna's phone go flying then I saw her stomp up the stairs with a tear in her eyes.
What's that all about? Megan asked.
I don't know. I responded looking at her phone.
I then saw that she but dialed our song to Gunner. I knew we shouldn't tell anyone so I then read more. She lied to Gunner but it's because we promised ever to speak of why we wrote that song. I ran upstairs to see Luna crying into her pillow.
Luna it's not your fault. I said calmingly.
Yes it is I should never have recorded us. She said through her sobs.
We should have never done that stupid thing in the first place. I said giving her innocent eyes.
I can't believe I actually thought they wanted us back. She said while hugging my waist.
Well it's not your fault or mine. We needed someone they said they'd be their but they never showed up it was never our fault it was always theirs. I said while Releasing a tear.
Then I heard the door open and Matts voice.Luna and I stayed upstairs. No one ever came to see us upstairs. No one even bothered to ask about us. We decided to hide in the closet since we would be forgotten for a long time.
What if they dont even start looking for us.Luna whispered.
I don't know. I said out of all honesty.
Then their was a lot of knocks at the door. Then someone answered it. It was Gunner.
Hi can I see Luna. He said worried.
We stayed in the closet till we heard the running up the stairs and someone walk in.
Where is she. I heard him mumble.
Then the closet door opened and he dragged Luna out but left me in. Then he locked the bedroom door then.......
Luna's P.O.V
Gunner pulled me out of the closet then hugged me. I hugged him back.
I know you said it was nothing but I just want to know. He asked sweetly.
I said it was nothing. I mumbled.
But I know it's something. He said.
Well it's not anything. I said sternly.
Then I heard my door open and Gunner was gone. I fell to my knees and cried. Then Cora came out of the closet and hugged me.
Of all people I wouldn't think he would leave me standing alone in the middle of a room. I cried into Cora's shoulder.
It's ok. Cora said as she rubbed circles in my back.
It's not ok he, you, Connor, and Soph are the only people who know me. The one of them just walks out. I cried into Cora's shoulder.
You have Matt and Amanda and the family. Cora responded.
They aren't our real family. I cried.
But they cared enough to take us in. Cora whispered into my ear.
I hugged Cora a little and she hugged back.
Then we walked down stairs and saw Nora.

Sorry I haven't been very active on this book I do my best to post every 2 weeks but it has basically been the whole summer. I promise to write soon!
