Well, This is Awkward - Gumball x Hot Dog Guy

The Thoughts

"Well, since we have no idea what to do, how about we do something that looks productive? All three of us?" HDG asks.

"I like that idea!" Darwin exclaims.

They walk to a corner, and grab some stuff that seems like it'd be used in gymnastics.

"Well?" Gumball says.

"We aren't actually going to do anything." HDG says.

"Oh."

Gumball leans against the wall, and stares off into space.

"It's weird that Penny isn't here." Gumball mutters.

"Isn't that your girlfriend?" HDG asks.

"Eh, we're on break. I guess."

Darwin looks over at Gumball, and raises his eyebrows over and over.

"DARWIN!" He whisper-yells.

HDG looks over at Darwin, and which he quickly darts his head away from that direction. He looks over at Gumball.

"Hey, is it okay if I stay over at your place? My parents are renovating the house, and I can't stay. I don't even have to be in the house, I can be in the tent like last time."

"No, it's fine! I can be in there with you if you wan-"

"Great!"

Going to lunch, he walks on HDG's and Darwin's side. His heart beats intensely, his feelings getting more and more extreme. Is he really going to spend the night with HDG? After just realizing his feelings? They walk into the lunchroom, and Darwin goes first.

"What are you getting?" HDG asks Gumball.

"I don't know. I might not get anything, I'm not exactly hungry." He replies.

"You can go ahead and sit down if you'd like. Save a table for us."

"Sure."

He walks over to his usual table, and sits down. Thinking to himself, he realizing how easy it was to get over that awkwardness they had. Maybe, they could be friends. Or, more. He shakes his head on the thought. But, it interests him.
