Waiting, hoping, with a dash of wanting

I guess I was waiting for you

I was waiting to be saved

Waiting to be fixed

Waiting for you

I guess I was hoping for you

Hoping for love

Hoping for a spark

Hoping you would be mine

I wanted you

I wanted us

I wanted a relationship

But I waited to long

I wasn't saved

I'm impossible to fix

And now your taken

I guess I didn't hope hard enough

I didn't get you

I didn't have love

I didn't feel a single spark

My wants weren't enough

I didn't get you

I didn't get an 'us'

I didn't get a relationship

I wonder if you waited for me though

If you were hoping I was yours

Or if you wanted me,

As badly as I wanted you.
