Harry was walking to the library when someone stopped him. He turned around.

"Herm-"

He couldn't get the words out before she slapped him right across the face.

"Listen here Harry I am you're best friend"

"Really I can't fucking tell" he said holding his face.

"I wasn't finished....I'm your best friend I have your best interest at heart so I'm telling you this as a friend..you can't keep doing this stuff to Ginny"

Harry stared at her, "the fuck do you mean doing this stuff to Ginny I haven't done shit"

"Putting her under stress"

Harry looked around and stepped towards Hermione.

"She's doing it to herself" he poked a finger in Hermione's chest "and you aren't fucking helping by acting like some fucking guard dog"

That got him slapped again.

And almost again until Ron intervened.

"'Mione stop"

"Did you hear what he said"

"Yea and it was mostly true now just leave him be"

Hermione huffed and shot a glare their way and walked away

"Thanks" Harry mumbled

Ron looked at him and smiled while clapping him on the back "you're my best mate...I've got you"

Harry smiled and continued his walk to the library.
