To Die of Imagination

Timing is everything, but in this world of clocks, somehow we're always late.
The time now, is taking its toll.
The ignorance of one so easily reflected on all.
An entire country represented by hate.

Everyone's going crazy these days.
They can't see through the haze.
It feels like the end of all days.
There are no more bright rays.

Politics in prejudice.
Like somehow hate will be a light kiss.
Clowns in front of life.
Like somehow pranks are more important than a life taken by knife.

A man can die of imagination.
Stepped on by a nation.
A world who's mind is on permanent vacation.
A call on arms for retaliation.

There are problems outside,
We'll just create them within,
To match our surroundings.
Like somehow if we make abortion unlawful.
The poverty levels will dip.

The heartache to feed the masses.
Like somehow we are equal yet no one's opinion matters but the above.
All is heard but the opinion of people,
Don't tell me that everything that's done is done.
Don't tell me that I'm overreacting when in an opposite situation you'd do the same.

Is freedom and heart below you,
Or has supremacy blinded and bashed any sentiment.
