"Were here at Bicol Central Station." She said as they hopped off the bus with their luggages. "So where are we off to again?" He asked as he wore his sunglasses.
"To Caramoan." She said beaming with joy. "That is still part of Bicol, right?" He asked as they walked inside the terminal bustling with life.
"Yes, but it is one of the must-see places in here. And I'll be your tour guide." She replied as they stopped infront of a ticketing booth of some bus named Peñafrancia.
"Alam mo, you should take off that jacket of yours." He said looking really concerned. "It's humid in here." He added as he fanned himself with his hand.
But instead she just shook her head still with his cap on it. "Kisses." He said, calling her name.
"Shhh!" She told him as they got near the ticketing booth."Don't call me Kisses here, just Kirsten." She said, "I don't wanna be regocnized." She added, "Dali, let's go buy tickets." She said and smiled at him. He follwed her through the bus station trying not to lose her in the sea of people.
So when he got near her, he grabbed her hand. He eyed her, trying to see if holding on to her hand was fine. But she did not even looked back to him. Is she angry? He thought to himself.
Then after a while they got to the ticketing booth and fell in line.
"Kirsten?" He said trying to call her attention.
"Yes?" She asked and looked at him.
"I'm sorry." He apologized as he searched her face for any sign of anger. But to his surprise she just smiled at him and said, "Why are you saying sorry?"
"Well, uh." He said at loss for words.
"I know you just don't want to get lost." She said rather casually and now turned her attention to searching her bag for her wallet.
He felt quite ashamed, but what for he asked himself. He felt silly.
Of course, that was nothing for her.
