Chapter Five;

Spencer Hastings POV

2 weeks later...

It had been two weeks since the accident but Toby is still is a medicine induced coma. He hasn't woken up. Everyday that I visit him brings me more pain and sorrow to see him suffering on a hospital bed. His heart rate going up and down and all the tunes plugged into him.

I opened he door to Toby's room to see him yet again lifeless on a hospital bed. I walked up to him and whispered into his ear, "Don't give up Tobes, we'll get you out soon I promise." I kissed his forehead and left.
The girls were waiting outside for me , I smiled as I saw them but it quickly changed back to a frown. "Spence he'll be out of there soon , we know he will were all hoping and praying for him." Hanna said stroking my arm.
"That's the thing , hope breeds eternal misery." I said and my eyes filled with unexpected tears and I fell to the floor. I couldn't help but sob over a person that I didn't even know if they'll make it out alive. Aria sat down with me and put her arm around my shoulders . "Spence , he's going to be alright trust me. If Ezra pulled through something like this I'm sure Toby will." Aria said, I smiled and the rest of the girls hugged me.

Toby Cavanaugh POV

I  all I could see was dark , all I could think was Spencer.  I felt someone touch my head and kiss my hand . My eyes fluttered open to see Amery standing there, holding my hand. "Your. Awake!" She exclaimed , smiling.
"Why are you here?" I asked, I was confused to why she was here as I thing I was with Spencer.
"Cause we are getting married in six months, silly!" She laughed , smiling into my eyes.
"Oh yeh of course." I replied. She kissed my head and summoned a nurse. They did tests to see if I was fit enough to be discharged.

When they finally gave the heads up we left and she drove me to our house. Amery wheeled me into the lounge and I sat on the couch. She smiled and kissed me , I kissed back and held her head in my hands. "I love you." She whispered, smiling at me.
"I love you too." I said and I kissed her again. I looked into her green eyes and smiled at the rare beauty. She hugged me and whispered, "Never let me go." I kissed her head and she fell asleep in my arms.

Spencer Hastings POV

I woke up yet again from a nightmare about Toby. This time he got out of the coma but was then stabbed again by the mysterious predator. I got out of bed and made myself a cup of coffee. The smell made me relaxed and the taste awake. I went back upstairs and turned the shower on . I felt the heat rise in the room and heard the water running fast. I got in and shampooed and conditioned my hair. I stood in the shower for a while longer just letting the water drop down my back. It felt nice to be relieved for a few minutes and not have to worry about everything.

I got changed and grabbed my keys and I was out. I headed for the hospital but on my way there I noticed a man walk into the brew followed by Amery , who was wearing a ring. I shrugged it off guessing it was the guy she cheated on Toby with.

When I arrived at the hospital I walked to the front desk.
"Hello ma'am how can I help you?" Asked the receptionist .
"Just checking to see if Toby Cavanaugh can have any visitors?" I asked , smiling.
She typed on her computer and clicked her mouse. She looked up at me baffled.
"Toby Cavanaugh was discharged, last night." She said looking at me while shrugging her shoulders . I nodded then started to walk away , who checked him out? I turned back and asked her one more question, "Did Amery Collins check him out?"
"Yes why?" She said looking at me even more confused. I nodded then walked away. I got into my car and drove straight to the Brew. Did he propose again?

I parked my car and got out, I opened the door to the brew and saw Toby kissing Amery. He pulled away and smiled into her eyes. I looked at them. How could he do this? He said he loved me.  "Toby?" I said , looking into his eyes. I was hurt, I was heartbroken.
"Hey Spence , they discharged me last night . I was just heading to yours. " he smiled. "You haven't met my fiancée yet have you? This is Amery." Amery smiled and held out her hand. I rolled my eyes and looked back at Toby. "Tobes can I speak to you for a minute." I asked, he kissed amerys cheek and got up. I took him to the side.
"What the fuck, she denied your proposal like last week . What happend!" I shouted. He looked at me confused. "You told me you loved me." I shouted even louder. He looked into my eyes . "I know I told you I love you, I still mean it but I love Amery to and she loves me back. " he smiled. I looked at him, what had happend in that hospital room when I was gone. "Hey stop crying." He wiped the tear off my face. I  looked into his eyes and kissed him. He kissed back and grabbed my neck . I rubbed my hands through his hair and pulled away. "Do you remember ?" I asked, he looked into my eyes smiling.
"Yes , I love you. " he kissed me. " wait I though Amery refused my proposal." I smiled.
"She did." I said gazing into his eyes. Amery stormed out. "I love you Tobes." I kissed him and he kissed back, smiling.
