Another Same Life

Chapter 1

Hello there, my name is Devytara, you can call me Devy, I'm 18 years old and Today is the first day on my new high school, I moved to this high school because this high school is near from my dad's workplace. I've changed school for many times, just because my dad's work. Ugh.

"Devy.. Devy..! Wake up! It's already 7 in the morning..!" Said my mom while she's shaking my body. "Yeah.. Five minutes please..?" I said while my face somewhat buried in the pillow I was laying on. "Hey Devy! Wake up!! The school starts on 08.00 in the morning!!"

CRAP!! I forgot I'm in a new high school!! My old high school starts on 09.00 in the morning, so I usually wake up on 08.00 lol.

After hearing what my mom said, I immediately got up from my bed and ran to the bathroom.

It took me 5-8 minutes to take a bath, then got ready and headed downstairs. A sweet pancake smell fills my nostrils. Pancake is my favorite breakfast food~! So I immediately pull an empty chair and sit on it.

"Good morning, Sis." Said my younger brother, Max. "Aww why are you so cute." I said while pinching his cheeks. He's now on junior high school. "Ugh. I'm not a child anymore." Said Max, annoyed. "Aww I'm sorry little brother, don't be mad." I said while making a puppy face. "Stop it and start eating your food." Said Max while continuing eating his food.

My family is indeed a warm family, we love each other, we share everything together, do chores together, hang out together, watching tv together, and many things we did together.

"Here's your lunch box Devy, don't forget to eat it and.. Don't forget to take your water bottle with you, okay?" Said my mom. " Ayeee mom! Now dad, let's go!" I said as my dad walking towards the car. "I love you Devy. Be safe okay? If there's anything happened, you can just call dad, okay?" " Yes, mother." I said then I cupped her cheek. "Bye mom~!" I said while waving my hands towards my mom. She waved back.

- TIME SKIP TO ARRIVED AT HIGH SCHOOL -

Now here I am, in my new high school. I hope I won't be suffered in this school cuz if I'm being suffered, it's just like my old school. That's one of the reason why I'm here. I snapped out of my mind, and continued walking towards the gate.

OMFG.

Just looking at the gigantic gate, it feels like everyone who study here must be in a high class people. I'm not in the high class people, I'm in the average class people lol. I realized that I'm in awe. I immediately closed my mouth then continued walking. WOW. This school is so damn big. I might be lost. So I asked people around me, to show me my class. After someone showed me, I thanked him then entered my class.

There's not many people here, maybe they're going out, or whatever. That's none of my business. So I search for an empty seat. I found it on the corner near the window. Perfect! Then sit on it. I don't know what to do, so I looked over the window. I saw many students walking and running towards their class as I heard the bell rang. Then students in my classroom started to get noisy, I am a silent people, I mean, I don't talk too much, so I just sit there, staring at the noisy students.

Suddenly, the class turned into a death silent. I saw a teacher coming towards our classroom. "Good morning, students." Greeted the teacher. All students included me replied,"Morning!!" Most of the students replied in a lazy tone. I don't know why. " So I heard that in this class there's a new student, please raise your hand," After I heard it from my teacher, I shyly raised my hand. "Okay Miss, you may introduce yourself in front of the class." Said my teacher. I slowly walked in front of the class. I felt gazes staring into my soul, lol.

"Hello, my name is Devytara, you can call me Devy, pls take care of me." I said as I waved my hand. It's kinda awkward bcz the students are just stare at me. I felt gazes again. I felt confused gazes, death gazes, especially from girls lol I think, and few just not interested.

Then the teacher told me to sit down on my chair, then started teaching. Then suddenly, a boy in front of me waved at me. "Hi, my name is Firandy. You must be Devytara or Devy, right?" I jumped a bit startled, bcz I'm in a deep thought. Then I waved back at him, "Yeah. Nice to meet you, Firandy." Then he returned his attention to the teacher.

- TIME SKIP TO LUNCH TIME -

After I heard the bell rang, I saw the students starts to walk away from the class, so I think it's the lunch time so I take my water bottle and my lunch box to a park in the school. I sat in front of a tree then started eating my lunch box. Suddenly, a shadow blocking my lunch box. I think it's a human so I looked up. There, I saw Firandy in front of me. "Hi Devy, can I join you?" Firandy said as he showed his lunch box. I nodded my head then he sat next to me starting to eat his lunch.

"Why are you here? Why dont you eat in the cafeteria?" He asked.

"Because I wanted to be alone, and another reason is I don't have any friends yet." I replied. I kept staring to my lunch box, but in the corner of my eyes, I saw him looking at me as he smiled. " I can be your friend." He said. This is the first time someone wants to be friends with me. It must be me who asked them to be my friends. And few of them just stared at me, I don't think that I'm ugly, i think I'm average haha.

" Sure." I said then continued eating. He did the same too. After we finished, we talked, about our lifes. I think I became a close friend to him. After a long talk, we headed back to our class. We talked, talked, and talked.

- SKIP TO AFTERSCHOOL -

I heard the bell rang as I started packing my books. My dad will not pick up on me, so I have to go home by myself. " Hey, wanna walk home together?" Asked Firandy. " Uhm, sure." I replied. And I remembered of something. Then I asked him, " Hey, are you popular?" I suddenly asked. "Hmm, maybe." He said then smiled. I found him cute when he smiled. " Among girls?" I asked again. "What? Are you afraid if you hang out with me you will get beaten up with my fangirls? Haha" That's what I'd think about. I don't want to be suffered gain like in my old school. I really don't want it.

Then we walked home, fortunately, our way home is the same, but he must ride a bus on a bus stop near my house. Suddenly, I tripped. He immediately catch me, and we stared to each other in shock. This is awkward....
