It was October now. Sarah and Heather were planning for Halloween. They already decorated their dorm room and door with fake spider webs, spiders, ghosts....you name it. Something they had in common. They both loved Halloween. It was their favorite holiday.
A couple nights before Halloween, they were sitting in their dark dorm room with nothing but candles giving off light. Of course they were telling urban legends and scary stories.
Heather told of urban legends that took place at the college. One where students were gutted by a security guard that was never caught. Another where a student went crazy and murdered all his teachers and kept their heads in his freezer that was in his dorm room.
They talked about paranormal experiences they have had. Heather once saw the spirit of a man holding a bloody axe walking around campus. She followed him until he stopped, turned around and started to swing the axe at her. As he started to swing, the man vanished. "It was scary to say the least but at the same time, it was amazing".
Sarah then asked Heather if she had heard about the abandoned house in the nearby town of Gainesburgh. Heather hadn't, so Sarah told her about it and all the stories. This peaked Heather's interest. "We should go and check it out. It sounds spooky. I love haunted places. The adrenaline rush is amazing". Sarah agreed. They made a plan to go on Halloween night after the dorm costume party. Little did they know, it would be a grave mistake that would change both of their lives and the lives of so many other people.
