.5. A kiss...

Me and Link were walking down the forest trail. Shining  mushrooms surrounded it.From bushes, branches and between trees at us were staring here and there eyes. I could guess fairies or other creatures were curious what we were doing in that goddesses forgotten forest.

I looked at Link, he was walking in front of me and I was a few steps behind him thinking.

Birds chirped, fairies were laughing....I closed my eyes and inhales a deep breath twitching my pointy ears focusing only on sounds. Too find their temple...I need to hear water running sounds.

Finally I heard it I opened my eyes grabbing Links shoulder and yanking him back a bit. He stumbled back frowning and turned facing me. I placed finger o n my lips showing him to be quiet.

He raised an eyebrow crossing arms. I saw how behind Link trail changed and  grape vines were hanging from tree branches. Link turned around looking confused when he heard girlish laugh and whispers.

Girls looked  breathtaking, they were everywhere. Sitting on rocks, laying on shrines broken stairs, sitting in ponds.

You grabbed Links arm jumping in bushes so they would't notice us. I sighed and turned my attention back on Link who was already starring at me with curious eyes.

In hushed tone he asked me.

''Who are they?'' I carefully looked out of bushes to check if we were noticed.

Seems like no one noticed and I breathed out from relieve.

Turning back to Link and sitting down I answered.

''Nymphs, here' s a plan...You go over there and distract them but whatever you do don't listen to their songs. Just ignore them alright? Whatever woman you will see that's just an illusion.One more thing, don't let them kiss you.''

Grabbing sword and slowly pulling it out I cursed my luck remembering that I leaved shield at home.

Link nodded and walked out of bushes not noticing my worried face.

Yeah, I dislike Link and all...but something was just...making me worry about that blonde idiot.

I spotted flower next to pond and making sure that all nymphs were busy with Link I quietly tiptoed to my target.

Link's P.O.V

My eyes were running in every direction. All those beautiful women surrounded me giggling and looking at me with their sparkling full of life eyes.

I smiled at all of them and I did as (Y/N) told me to, that was true they were singing to me their songs and whispering in my ears pleasant things

But then....I saw her...Zelda was gracefully walking down the steps in white revealing dress.

She tilted her head making her earring jingle and flashed me a flirty smile. Her movements were slow and I could feel my heart ready to jump out. My cheeks wee red and my breath hitched in my throat.

I ignored all girls and I could hear only her hums. I ignored short splash and my feet slowly step by step neared beauty in from of me.

Your P.O.V

I nervously glanced at Link and made sure he's doing okay.

I reached flower pulling out dagger from my boot ready to dig in and pack it in my bag.

Something stopped me...My hands were a few cm away from flower.

I sharply turned my head to right. Maybe it was my luck, maybe I heard shuffle...or maybe it was her sick sweet giggle. I saw it. A nymph who looked like Princes Zelda was yard away from hypnotized Link.

My breath hitched and pupils shrunk in size. I dropped my dagger  and it dropped down making barely audible sound.

In that exact moment cold, wet, pale hand shot out from underwater yanking me with inhuman speed in cold dark water. A loud splash and I'm being dragged on it's bottom by girl who relieved her true form. Sharp teeth, no legs and white eyes.

I reacted quickly using my sword and cutting of her arm. My movements were slow but enough to stab her a few times. She let go of me hissing in pain and dying. I swam up taking a breath of sweet sweet air . Climbing out from water mixed with blood I noticed she leaved claws mark on my arm. I clicked my tongue blocking another nymph crashing her sword in pieces piercing her stomach. I did a few flips slashing, cutting and blocking all of them. I finally made my way to Link who learned for a kiss as her pale hands were placed on his red cheeks. All dying nymphs were hissing at me trying to grab my ankles. I ran at her and Link feeling how fast my heartbeat was.

Link's P.O.V

I was staring at her shinning blue eyes when her lips were whispering something. I closed my eyes.

I felt a harsh tug on my collar and my lips were crashed on wet and cold ones.

I...Felt my sense come back to me and I opened my eyes realizing that Zelda just can't be here and that I was tricked. But...oh how I was surprised to see (Y/N) all wet from head to toes, a bit of blood on her clothes, water was dripping from her face, clothes and hair. In one hand she was holding her sword, from it dripped blood.

Her (e/c) eyes flew open and she finished that nymph.

She was panting and looked up at sky.

Normal P.O.V

You laughed a raspy laugh feeling your heart going back in normal rate.

I pulled my sword out of nymphs chest whipping my mouth and pulling it back on my back.

I ran a hand trough my wet hair and looked at Link.

''You're an idiot. What did I told you bout illusion?''I frowned at him.

''You saved me?'' He looked around at all dead nymphs.

''Yes I did, you owe me fairy boy'' I shook my head at him walking back to flower and this time using my dagger I placed it in my bag

Drinking one of my potions I felt as my arm healed.

I glanced back at Link who was starring at dead nymph who almost kissed him.

He sighed waking after me looking down on ground.

I though  to talk about it when we get back home. It was sunset and we were walking back making our way trough cursed forest.

I could sense a long talk was awaiting us.
