"Oh, come on Ashley! It'll be fun!" Stacy said over the phone.

"No Stace. I'm not going to that club." I replied then hanged up the phone. I got up and walked up the stairs to my room and got ready for work; a Starbucks shirt and some tan pants. I placed my hair in a messy bun and grabbed my bag and walked out but I slid my flats on first. The walk to work wasn't very far so I just took my time. As I walked, it felt as if someone was watching me. I stopped and looked behind me and all that. Then I saw the alley across the street. As dark as it might be, I saw a tall person over there. I gulped and continued to walk to Starbucks. Once I made it, coffee filled my nose. I smiled as Tim came out.

"Hello Ashley!" He smiled happily.

"Hey." I replied, returning the gesture. I put my bag down and wrapped the kitchen thing thingy on. A man came in, tattoos covered on his arm. He came up to the counter.

"Hi. How may I help you today, sir?" I asked politely while smiling.

"Yeah, a caramel cappuccino." He said not-so politely. I sighed and wrote that down on my notepad and walked to the kitchen.

"Caramel cappuccino!" I yelled, handing the order to one of the kitchen people. After they made it, I walked back out to the tattoo dude and gave it to him.

"That'll be six-fifty." I said, handing him his cappuccino. Our hands touched and I could've sworn that electricity went right through me. The man snickered and took a sip. He took out his wallet and handed me a ten.

"Keep the change." He said.

"Is there anything else I can do for you, sir?"

"Nah." I nodded and went back to the counter and waited for other customers to arrive. The man stayed on his phone until Tim said I can go home. I nodded and took off my kitchen thing and hanged it up. I grabbed my bag and walked out. I was stopped by the man.

"Want a ride home?" He asked. I shook my head and continued walking. He stopped me again.

"I didn't get your name." He smirked.

"Ashley." I said.

"Louis." He replied.
