I woke up to a sound of snoring beside me. I jumped causing the bed to rattle and wake up the guy beside me. My eyes adjusted to the dark and I saw Louis smiling.
"I told you to leave." I scowled. I turned to my side so I could face him.
"Yeah, well, I didn't want to." Louis replied innocently smiling. He shifted so he could lean on his left hand. I sighed and looked at his tattoos. Louis chuckled above me.
"Do you like them?" He asked putting out his right arm so I can look at them more closely. I continued looking at them as I nodded. Louis startled me by getting up abruptly.
"Are you leaving?" I asked quickly. He shook his head as he lifted up the hospital blankets and kicked off his shoes then crawled in facing me. I smiled, not really feeling like protesting against the action that he chose. Louis kissed my nose then chuckled. I cuddled into his chest and breathed in. He smelt good. He kissed my head and stroked my hair.
"How long have we've been friends?" I asked suddenly.
"We were friends since we were four then when I was ten and you were nine, you had to leave." Louis' voice broke at the end. I sighed.
"I'm sorry..." I choked out.
"No, its okay. it's not like it's your fault." He said. I nodded and soon enough I fell back to sleep but right before I was fully asleep, I heard Louis say the three most perfectly dangerous words;
"I love you."
