Happy 13th

Hope's P.O.V.
I woke up to my annoying alarm clock. Sometimes I just want to chuck it against the wall or hit it with a hammer, like my parents friend Tristan does. I wonder how many alarm clocks he goes through in a year?

I pulled my self out of my thoughts and turned off the alarm clock. I stretched before pulling the covers off of me and letting my legs dangle off of the bed as my eyes adjusted to the lighting. I got up and slowly made my way to my bathroom. We lived in a pretty large house and my bedroom was the second largest after my parents, so I had my own bathroom that was connected to my room.

I turned on my music and blared my uncle Logans song that he made with the Why Don't We boys called "help me help you". I'm aware that Logan isn't my uncle but everyone on Team 10, my family, and Logan are all very close. Ever since I was born I called him uncle Logan and Jake uncle Jake. I also call Nathan and Kade my uncles, but I only do that as a Joke. We are going to the Team 10 house today and I really hope Kade's wife Mackenzie is there, she is like a second mom to me, along with Erika and Tessa.

I brushed my teeth while I attempted to sing the lyrics to the song. I finished and then brushed my hair and put it in two braids. I put on some light makeup and looked at myself in the mirror before taking a picture on Snapchat with the dog filter, and captioning it "finally 13!". I looked at my texts to see my best friends Kaylee and Leah texted me and wished me a happy birthday. I thanked them and walked into my closet.

My mom had taken me out shopping the day before to get a new outfit for my big day. I was having a big party with kids from my school, everyone on Team 10, and all their friends. I put on my maroon colored dress that fell a little above my knees. I put in white rose earrings and a necklace that Jake had gotten me for my birthday last year. I slipped on my black converse and walked downstairs.

"Good morning sunshine" my mom said cheerfully as she was flipping pancakes, which she knows are my favorite besides pizza. I smiled and took a seat at our table. "Excited for you big party tonight?" She asked me.

"Is that even a question! Of, course in excited. I have wanted to join the Team ever since I was young" I said with much excitement in my voice.

"Awe, honey. You have always been part of the team. Just not officially" she said. I smiled and nodded before hearing my little brothers run down the stairs screaming about how they smelled pancakes. They were so annoying but I love them anyway. I laughed and walked over to my adorable little sister who was sitting on the couch. I just love that kid to death. If you couldn't tell, she is my favorite sibling. I picked her up and sat her on my lap. She laughed and hugged me. "Luke, Blake please don't run down the stairs" my mom yelled.

"Happy birthday sissy" Sophia said still hugging me. I thanked her and hugged her tighter. My mom called me to the table and stuck a candle in my pancakes. I laughed and heard my dad run down the stairs.

"Don't sing without me!" My dad yelled running towards us. They all sang to me and I blew out my candle. "Happy birthday sweetie" my dad said placing a kiss on my forehead. I smiled and hugged all of my amazing family.
