Laurance, abused and broken by his mother who would lock him in a cold shed if misbehaving or through glass dishes at him as a form of "discipline." The strange behavior started off when he was about five a few weeks after his sister and Dad had died in a tragic car crash. Laurance, Olive (she's the sister), and Laurance's father had all been driving back from one of Olive's dance recital she was fifteen at the time and some collage scholarships were already coming her way. While driving a drunk driver hit them killing both Olive and the father. The mother was away on a business trip when when she came home and heard the news she blamed it on Laurance disregarding the fact that the car had been hit by a drunk driver and insisting Laurance had caused the crash by distracting his dad there for causing the accident. So after that day she took her anger and grief out on Laurance in the form of physical abuse. One day when Laurance was twelve he can home after school only to find his mom had hung herself in the living room. After that an orphanage took him, still at the age of 16 no one had adopted him. He had lost all hope for ever finding love
Garroth lived in a nice home with an excellent family. He was a good kid overall he just chose the wrong people to be friends with. He was friends with the kinds of people who loved to pick on and make life a living hell for all those who were different. Remember how I said he had an excellent family earlier well there is one thing that didn't make it all the perfect his father was a successful business man who was never around, it was just business trip after business trip. He never showed affection to Garroth, Garroth's mother or his brothers Zane, and Vylad. But his mom was one of the most happy and loving people on the face of this Earth. To Garroth family was everything since his dad was never around he took a stand to be the man of the house after all he was the oldest.
