Laurance: P.O.V

I bit my lip, (it was a something I did when I was nervous and right now I WAS VERY NERVOUS!) I took the seat next to him and made sure the librarian was close enough to us, so that if Garroth strangled me or something she could see and like tell him to stop or something? I opened my text book and pointed to the to the lesson Mr. Carr wanted me to tutor him in, "So to my understanding you are confu-" I wasn't able to get my question out because he interrupted me like 0.5 seconds into talking.

"So how was your day?" Garroth said in a pretty genuine matter and in a polite tone. Ok what the hell is going on here, most of my high school life Garroth tortured me so why was he being all chummy now? Is he playing some kind of mental game with me? Is he trying to get my guard down which would make even me more vulnerable than I already am, thus making the chance that he might kill me EVEN HIGHER!? Laurance keep it together!! He's not going to kill you he's just a kid a big strong muscular kid, but still a kid. After I collected my self I gave a short answer of "fine."

Garroths: P.O.V

I attempted to make small talk with Laurance but it wasn't going any where. His answers were all short and gave me no segway into another conversation. Eventually he looked me right in the eye and said,

"Listen I'm not wasting my afternoon in the library so we can become best friends I'm here because I need to teach your dumb-ass math, got it? So shut up and let me teach you this shit."

My mouth opened in disbelief from his unexpected response "y...yeah um sorry I uhh-" the librarian's scratching voice cut me off, "You with the brown hair no profanity in my library!"

I giggled a bit "is it just me or does her voice remind you of a bird?" My comment didn't make Laurance chuckle or even smile for that matter he just ignored my voice as if I never said anything.

After we finished our lesson we packed our things up and rode the train. The stop closest to my house was only a couple stops before Laurance's (which I found out when me and him practically followed each other to the train station.) This left me time to try and patch up our relationship once more.

ON TRAIN

Laurance tried to sit in the back of the train car so he could be as far away from me as possible but I didn't give up that easy. I followed him to the back of the car and took the empty seat next to him. Before he could jump up and run away again in hopes to avoid me I intertwined our fingers and held his hand. His hands were cold yet soft and so small compared to mine, but I guess you could argue that he was shorter that me but still.

Laurance:P.O.V

WAIT WHAT JFKDSHAGGNIJRHBNDFBA, why is he holding my hand?? I felt my cheeks turning red with embarrassment and ripped my hand away from his

"THE HELL DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?!?!?" I said in a whisper yell so attention wouldn't be drawn to this mess of a situation

"I uhhh don't know I just was trying to fix our relationship and I... was umm.. trying to make sure you didn't leave when I sat down." The blonde stuttered. Honestly I didn't know how to react here was my bully who is now confessing to me that he wants to make up?? AND BE FRIENDS??" This shit is straight out of a movie! My mind kept racing and forced me to think that this was a some kinda sick game he was playing in hopes to win over my being and manipulate me. While most of my mind was obsessing over the negative there was a small part of me that hoped maybe he was being honest and that I might find light in this once dark person.

HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Oof I have no clue how I'm going to make their relationship bloom without it seeming clique and unrealistic but oh well \(*^*)/
