First of all, the girl on the photo is Olivia, the main character. She is 14 years old in the story. I have no clue how old that person is in real life, nor do I know who they are. I just found that picture on google. Second of all, I try to keep my grammar and spelling good, so I don't think you'll have to worry about seeing any mistakes. And if you do, please just ignore them, I will fix them later. Now, start reading!
Olivia's POV
"Yes mom! I already told you, I'm not going to drink any of the alcohol!" I scream through the phone and hang up. I love my mom, but she can be a pain in the ass sometimes. I'm going to my friend Valerie's birthday and there will be alcohol there. How am I suppose to resist? Yes, I lied to her, but it's for the best. She would kill me if she found out that I'm going to be drinking! She won't find out. Which is why I'm not coming home for the night. I told my mom I would be spending the night at Valerie's house. Just so she doesn't see me come home drunk.
In reality, I have no idea what I'm going to do after the party. I never asked Valerie if I can stay the night, nor do I want to. Valerie is a great friend, don't get me wrong! It's just that she will be drunk, and who knows what might happen at night! She could maybe get in bed with a guy. I don't want to cause any problems or be a bother.
So, I have no idea what I'm going to do after the party. I'll figure something out. Whatever happens, happens.
I take a shower with coconut milk scented shampoo and lavender rosemary scented body wash. I want to smell good for the party. I dry off and get dressed into my outfit. (The picture below)
I sighed and admired myself in my mirror. I was very self-conscious of my body, but I thought this dress made my hips stand out. I have to admit, I looked pretty good in this outfit. It wasn't a very age-appropriate outfit, but as long as it makes me feel good, it's good!
I heard a honk from outside. "Shit! Valerie's already here!" I shout to myself. I didn't even do my hair! Oh well, I guess I can make it work. I stroke my hair, making it a bit more straight.
"That's good," I whisper to myself. I walk down the stairs and open up my front door. I see Valerie and another one of my friends, Ashley in her moms Jeep. I noticed there was another person, someone driving them. It looked like another girl. Shoulder-length blonde hair and big brown eyes. She was quite pale.
"Get in loser, we're going shopping!" Ashley yelled. We all laughed hysterically at the Mean Girls joke and I hopped in the car. "Oh Olivia, this is Carmen," Valerie said pointing at the girl behind the wheel. She smiled and waved at me. I smiled and waved back.
She looked about 17. "She's my cousin, she's gonna be at the party" Valerie said. I nodded. I was so excited for tonight! I bet the party is going to be fun! The car stops at Valerie's house and we all jump out. Ashley was literally squealing. I giggled, but joined her.
There was loud music coming from the house, so the party must've already started. I saw some people in the front, and dawn tons of people through the windows. Damn, there's way more people here than I expected! We all go inside and each of us go our own ways. Ashley went toward the bar, and Carmen and Valerie went to talk to some of the guests.
I decided I'd go look around the house. Not because I didn't know what the house looked like. I've been at Valeries house many times before. But because I wanted to see all the people that were here.
I'm not gonna lie, there were lots of cute boys at this party. Most of these people were from our school. I walked around a bit more and noticed there was a brown haired boy sitting alone on the couch. I couldn't see his face, but he didn't look familiar. He looked a bit sad so I decided to go start a conversation.
"Hi," I said while going to sit down on the spot next to him. He looks up at me and looks me in the eyes for a moment. Wow, his eyes are gorgeous... They're brown, wait, no.... they're green. Wait, hazel?
They were the prettiest shade of hazel I've ever seen. I could get lost in his eyes. "Hi," he smiled at me. His cheeks were a light shade of red, but when he said hi, they got a bit darker. Was he blushing? Awe, cute. I start blushing a bit.
Wait, I don't even know his name and I think he's cute. I brushed the thoughts get and decided to introduce myself. "I'm Olivia, Olivia Ross," I said.
"I'm Jacob, Jacob Sartorius," he said. Again, his cheeks got a tint darker and he suddenly looked away. I giggled because I knew he was blushing. He looked back at me and smiled. His smile was perfect. Wait, why am I thinking this?
"So, I noticed you look a bit sad. What's the matter, if you don't kind sharing...?" I asked him. I wasn't sure if he would answer or not.
"Oh. Well, I - Uhm..." he started, but I cut him off.
"You don't have to tell me," I said.
"No! It's fine. I want to get it off my chest anyways," he said. "I was hanging out with my friends when an ex-friend came up to us. He started telling them rumors about me. Like how I 'slept with their girlfriends' and that I'm a 'sex addict' and they believed it. They got really angry at me. I told them that those were just lies but they obviously didn't believe me. They just left me," he said.
I felt really bad for him. What a horrible person his ex-friend was! I didn't know what to say or what to do, so I just hugged Jacob. It was very unexpected, and even I was a bit shocked by hugging him. He was obviously surprised, but he hugged me back.
If that happened to me, I would feel heartbroken. My friends mean a whole lot to me, I love them! Suddenly, I heard sobs, and I realized Jacob was crying.
"Awe, don't cry, it's going to be okay. Don't worry," I say patting his back. "I really want to somehow help you and make you happy. Is there anything I could do that would cheer you up?" I ask. He thinks for a moment and finally comes up with something.
"Could we like- ugh, leave the party and hangout?" He asks. "Actually never mind. I don't want to ruin your day," he says looking at the ground.
I smiled, "Sure, we can hangout," I say, which surprised him because he looked at me and hugged me.
"Thanks," he says. He smiled that perfect smile again. "So, lets go to my house, okay?" He asks. I nod and we start heading towards the door. If Valerie calls me, I'll tell her I had some serious business to do. This boy obviously had a rough day, and I would do anything to make him happy. I hate seeing people sad or angry.
We start walking for a couple minute, and on the walk Jacob suddenly starts holding my hand. "I-ugh, sorry," he says, dropping my hand and scratching his neck. I giggle, Jacob is a very awkward guy. He stutters a lot. I start blushing.
I start holding his hand and look at him, "It's okay," I say. I don't really understand why I'm doing this. First off, I don't usually giggle. Second off, why am I acting like this? I feel so weird around this guy. Like, a good weird. I know we just met but Jacob is very cute and he makes me blush.
Why do I feel like this?

Aye, everyone! It is me, Tasha. If you didn't know, this is my first ever story on Wattpad, so the cringe might be extreme. I don't promise anything though. What do you guys think of it? Is it a good start? Anything you would change?
