Tension was building up as Chris picked up the last vote. "And, the winner of Total Drama is." He did a dramatic pause. "DUNCAN!!! The winner of Total Drama Action is Duncan! Congratulations!" He yelled.
Duncan's pov:
I won?!!?!??!?! WHATTTTT!!!!! "What the heck!?!?! I ACTUALLY WON???!?!?!??? YEAHHH!!!!!!!!" I yelled as I got out of the chair Beth and I were sharing. She was glaring at me. Since when was she the type to glare? Who cares. I WON A MILLION DOLLARS!!!! "OHHH!!! We're rich!!!" Courtney said as she hugged me. "Whoa not so fast sister, who said I'd share with you?" I asked pushing her away. She then kissed me and I felt dazed. "Every king needs a Queen." She said. She still had a lot of blue ink on her face. It looked funny, but I couldn't laugh, I was still dazed by that kiss. "King huh? That doesn't sound so terrible." I said. And she kissed me again.
Even if that was the first chapter of this, I had a very hard time with this specific one. It had Duncan and Courtney kissing... no... just no. I'm sorry to all you Duncney shippers or fans, but I ship Duncan with someone else. You'll find out that person later on. Never mind, judging by the cover of the book, and in the summary I said loner, you probably already know who it is. This is a very short chapter but DO NOT WORRY!
I definitely write way more than this. I usually write at least 1,000 words. My goal is always at least 1,200 or 1,300 because I know that reading it is way easier than writing it. So, hopefully you'll read the rest of the story as soon as I update more!
