It was a dark hallway of the hospital. Jimin was walking back and forth with alarming expression. His mother was in ICU under the observation of the doctor. Due to the breakage many family's life was completely ruined and his mother was no exception. It was hard for him to withstand all this. He was young and immature. His mother was the only one who loved him. It was an unimaginable thought for him to live alone without his mother.
He was eagerly waiting for doctor to receive some good results. The light of the hallway path was flickering. After a whole lot of patience, he was about to enter the ICU room but he saw docter and his nurse coming out. He wasted no time and ran towards them and asked.
"Docter, how is my mother? She will be alright, right?? I can take her home right.? Please say something !" Jimin fired all the questions going around in his head. But the docter stood silent and bowed the head down. "The thing is.. we all tried our best but... we couldn't save her...! Im sorry", the docter apologized and left the young boy with devastating new. He didn't believe him. He thought they're trying blind him from truth. The thoughts of it made him insane which caused him to bound towards the room. When he reached the room slamming the entrance, he couldn't believe his eyes. The body was laying on the stretcher face covered with blood stained white cloth. Slowly he ambled forward in disbelieve. He was shaking so hard, his whole body became cold as he came near the body. The face was covered so he couldn't verify untill he unhurriedly pull the cloth to unveil the face. He felt his whole extinction was a deception. The warm tears rolled down his cheek. He just stood there feeling empty. After a while his heard of someone commencing toward him. The docter came and said
"Kid, you should go home and rest. I know it har--"
"I ain't going anywhere", jimin interjected. The docter paused for a second. But again he tried.
"Listen kid. I know how you feel cause I've lost someone important just like you did. Life doesn't end here. You gotta be strong and face it head on.", the docter hushed. But his words didn't reached jimin as he looked like he's gonna pass on. The docter looked around to his nurse and gestured something to her and left. Then the nurse patted the shoulder of jimin and said
"Please go home, you need rest.", but jimin didn't say a word just stood there lifeless. The nurse was kind of a short-tempered and became irritated. Despite her anger she tried again but got rejected agian. She became a little furious then clasped jimin's small arm and started to drag him out of the room forcefully.
"What're you going? Let me go, she needs me", jimin cried. He tried many time to unrelease himself but he was quite small and the nurse was big so the struggle want in vain.
"I told you to leave nicely and warmly. But kids like you don't listen right.?", she complained.
"Just let me go. I promise I won't cause any problems. I just wanted to see her. Please let me go", jimin pleaded wiping his ever flowing tear. But the nurse didn't care about how he felt right now.
"Let me goo... please" suddenly the vision begins to become blurry.
"Lett m-me go", he shouted little bit.
"LET ME GO--", he screamed. Waking up from the bed. 'Nightmare, again', he thought. He was exhausted and short-winded. His body was all wet with sweat and felt tears rolling down his cheek. He heard someone storming towards his room.
"Jimin !?!", It was choi. He entered young one's room and reached out his long arm encircling with tight embrace. "Its okey.. I'm here. Don't cry okey. Everything's gonna be fine", Choi started calming him down.
"Sorry hyung.. I'm alway causing you troubles sorry".
"Yeah, I do agree you cause a lot of trouble to me and its so tiresome. But aren't brothers naturally like this. And its okey to depend on me cuz I'll alway be with you okey. So calm down.", he basically said every comforting word to jimin to calm him down.
"Hyung alway spoil me", jimin grumped and wiped his tears.
"Yeah yeah so so! Alright Go take a shower, your stinking a lot. And come downstairs I'll prepare your breakfast. Fast"
"Okey hyung",jimin said. Choi withdrew his embrace and patted jimin head. Then he want back to the kitchen.
Jimin came down after freshin up. He sat on his chair and started gobbling his food. It was silence. None of them spoke at first. And finally Choi snapped the silence. " okey what now? Why silence?", Choi questioned him with suspicious eyes. Jimin didn't replied his question. But choi continuously stared at him with a piercing glance. The young one surrendered and replied
"Okey okey. I'll say", jimin signed. "The first thing I remember is I was in the lake yesterday and I don't remember what happened And the last I remember is I was in my bed this morning. How can it be?"jimin questioned himself. He was pretty puzzled and troubled.
"I don't know what happened to you yesterday..", choi walked towards jimin. He just stared at the old one and didn't knew what to do. Suddenly choi picked Jimin's cheeks softly. Jimin muttered in pain."but don't ever go dozing around in a random places. Do you know how much trouble you gave me yesterday. I was looking for you everywhere in the village.", scolded choi
"Im sorry hyung.. I won't do such things agian", jimin felt guilty of what he had done. Though he had no idea of how did he fell asleep. Its was quite frustrating for him to remember things that happened yesterday on that lake. One thing he sure knew was someone did something to him that caused this. But he had no idea how things are going to change slowly and painful after that incident. -End of Chaper-
