"One last cup of cappuccino and done",Jimin thought. His happiness had no limits when he looked at the clock and realized his extra shift was going to end. Giving his last bow to his customer, he untied his apron and left the counter to grab his belongings. The boy was tired as his whole body was aching a lot then usual.

Greetings his fellow workers and manager a goodbye, he exited from the cafe. As soon as he stepped out the cafe, a cold breeze brushed his cheeks leaving a red tint. He shivered because of chilling weather.

"Should have brought my oversized coat. Its so cold today",Jimin said. He walked down the street through the busy area of the village and finally reached the not so populated area. The alley was kind of dark but enough for Jimin to see the path of the road.

"I wonder hyung will scold me for being late again or not.... though its not my fault... or maybe". He swung his arm back and forth in annoyance that leads him to notice something in his hand. "Ah.. the bouquet", he mumbled as he glanced at it. "Ugh! How can A person do that out of nowhere. Kis—sing someone so randomly", he blushed a little. "And what's more irritating is why did I passed out... so confusing",he added. He ruffled his hair to shake out those thoughts and focused himself on walking.

Out of his consciousness, his mouth began to let out a melodious tune. His humming was so pure and angelic. He remembered when his mother was alive, she alway used to ask him to sing more often. His mother loved when he secretly sang while bathing. He would instantly denied her request because of his embarrassment. Now, he regretted his childish decisions. So sometimes he would visit her grave and dedicate a song to her. Thats the only thing he could do now.

He was humming and walking further down the alley. His mind was so preoccupied by it that he almost jumped in shock when the loud footsteps echoed in his ears. "What was that?", he turned around in fright to witness what it was. To his surprise, nothing was there. "Huh! Was it my imagination. But I swear I heard it", he exclaimed. He looked around again still didn't saw anything "might be a wind, right? Hehehe silly me", he added Trying to suppress his fear.

He continued walking but this time his mind was very conscious. The whole alley falls under silence once he stopped humming. He struggled himself to think about other things to keep his mind busy. All his thinking shattered and he paused still, when he heard a very loud stomp again. It was loud and clear. His heart skipped a bit. He thought "Is someone following me....". Chills ran down his spine. Realization hit him hard and he threw his body to a run. He clutched his grip around the bag's strap. Extremely loud stomping sound of the foot could be clearly heard. It was closing him slowly. He broke out in tear and his limbs started to give up in him. He was stumbling and wobbling a lot. "S—someone he—lp me—e",he breathed out. His voice didn't reach out to anyone because of his hard panting and stuttering. There came a point he felt like his body's  gonna crumble down into pieces. He was about to surrender until he saw a light of hope. His house was only a couple of blocks away. Hard panting and running made  him unable to call for help. Despite all this, he still merged forward towards his home.

With coughing and panting, he finally stood infront of his home. The sound no longer followed him. He leaned forward resting with both hands on his knees. His legs were shaky and sweats were dropping from his head. "Final—ly", he signed in relief. He stood straight after catching some breaths. A pinch of uncertainty builds inside him which makes him to turn around behind him. He breathed in appease. "Thank god! No one's following me anym—", he was cut off by what he saw when he turned around to proceed inside his home. A dark mist of something which he couldn't describe was floating right infront of him. His eyes widens, throat's dry out and leaves whole body shivering as he witnessed that thing. He became so frightened that he was unable to call out to his hyung. His heart was out of beat, tears forming in his eyes and his mind full of hopelessness and fears. At this moment, he felt he is done for. He sensed his body was getting weaken and hot. He forgot that he was feeling feeble from the beginning. Slowly his image started to flicker and his body finally surrendered itself. Everything became unaudible and pitch dark, he tumbled over the hard ground. He whined in pain but his body was not strong enough to get up and run. Little he could tell from his half closed eyes that someone approached him, sat down and gazed at him. Jimin peered at it but heaviness of his eyes made his unable to see things clearly.

"Plea—se... don't har—m", he requested gathering all his strength. Tears rolled down to his temples as he struggled to see who it was. Slowly his vision became blurry and eventually he fainted.

The person reached out his hand and prodded his fingers into Jimin's face. He slowly wiped out his tears from the face. "But you look so vulnerable right now. How can I not hurt you", he said licking the tears from his hand.
