"Everything is so dark on the other side."

"I'll love you till the day you die."

                          "Never leave me."

Everything was dazzling: the darkness of tinkling lights, the center of the sky bursting with light. The boy braked and braked, but nothing would stop the rushing, nothing could keep him from speeding down the street of darkness into an explosion of light. For a moment he felt tremendous weight, as if all the trees in the world along with the sky had fallen on him. Somehow he had gotten free. But something didn't feel right, something bad had happened. The boy opened his mouth and screamed her name at the top of his lungs. But all that happened was the darkness swirled in again, the road around him like a black spinning with red, night swirling with the pulsing lights of an ambulance. His head spun, his thoughts swimming around and around in his head, he had to find her. He tried to call out her name but his lips couldn't open. He tried to reach out, maybe he could reach her, but he felt like he was paralyzed. He closed his eyes and reminded himself to breathe. He opened his eyes as the red and blue lights got brighter and brighter; however. His heart started to beat fast and he felt like the world was ripped underneath him as he saw her seconds later. The young girl with the pretty blonde wavy hair and bright hazel eyes was lying in her own blood, still as stone. He screamed her name till his voice cracked and tears ran down his face. Soon the swirling ran long and streaky now. Ribbons of light and dark rushed past the boy horizontally making him cover his eyes. He opened them seconds later when he saw a paramedic touch her skin. He saw her shake her head two times before she let out a choking nose:

"No pulse," the women said shaking her head once more. "No chance."

(an hour before)

"I never thought a backseat could ever be so romantic, but you proved me wrong." She smiles at the boy who sits beside her with a huge smile on his face.

"When do I ever not prove you wrong?" He asked with a smirk.

"Oh, shut up, you dork." She laughs as the girl kisses the boy on the cheek.

"Pretty sure you're the dork, dork." He chuckled as he pulled her in for a kiss and kissed her softly on the lips. After he pulled away from her he reached down to grab something but grimaced. Soon she sees that his holding up a rotting apple. "Ew!" She said, shaking her head.

He rows down the window and throws it outside. As he leans back on the seat he says: "Ow!" Soon the smell of flowers filled her nose letting them both know that he crushed the flowers that he gave the girl not to long ago. She starts to giggle as he pulls the flowers from underneath of him and throws them onto the ground.

"What's so funny?" He asks, laughing himself, as he throws them into onto the passenger seat.

"Nothing, you just make me laugh." She smiled her beautiful smile, eyes wrinkling, as she stared into her boyfriend's eyes.

Once he leaned back down on the seat again, he pulled her close and kissed her forehead. "Your so beautiful."

"Thank you." She smiles, her cheeks reddening, as she kisses the boy on the forehead.
